And as a result, you can make some pretty ridiculous stuff with Rogue in wild. Not exactly top tier, but still able to out-control any control deck. Like, I’m pretty sure Dane is already working on a Flik + Shadowcaster deck that’ll just delete the opponent’s entire deck, hand and board, one card at a time.

That's pretty funny, but tbh I think Galakrond Rogue looks great. Rogue got kinda screwed in Knights because their hero card had a really low impact battlecry, and their hero power was really strong but required you to conserve your resources to use it properly (whereas Jaina, Gul'dan, Rexxar and so forth all got impactful battlecries and their hero powers could be used in a vacuum.) Valeera the Hollow also cost more than she should have (she should have probably been 7 mana). Then there was Kingsbane rogue, and that was okay. but wasn't great, and was considered really cheesy & unfair. Now we have Galakrond. Which does tie together A LOT of the sort of failed attempts at Rogue archetypes. Hero cards have almost always been centralizing and powerful. I don't think the Rogue Galakrond is any different. The hero power is amazing, and the battlecry (even before you upgrade it) is very strong too.

Because people just look what other top players are using. The funny thing is that more decks are viable and go under the radar for most expansions, I highly recommend making your own decks and tweaking them. So much more fun when it's your own.

When I save a decent amount toward the end of an expansion, and break down cards I'll never use, I'm always able to make about 3 complete tier 2-3 meta decks in the first week. Always. And I only average 20min-1hr a day. 80% of the cards in this meta are good, not just the legs, so you're going to get good cards just opening a couple packs at a time. Either you don't know what you're doing or...?

I feel like it's supposed to have the respective Galakrond hero power show up on the side, but only "Lackey", which is normally in bold in the power's description, is shown for some reason. EDIT: Turns out I'm right, note that the entire overlay shows up at 30:28 when Trump briefly hovers over Praise Galakrond. It's not the hero power overlay but the card effect description overlay or whatever it's called.

I played a jade rogue last expansion (without n'zot cuz dust) and It was really fun and quite strong, think i should review it a bit adding apothecary and maybe waxadred Well i wasn't legend but i still managed to reach and stay in rank 8/7/6 without kind of issues

Take out the Mechanical Whelps for Togwaggle Schemes or Baleful Banker IMHO. More Value, better body.

​@@fftgamer I disagree, there's already far too much value in the deck. The whelps make the Necrium package a lot more consistent, though perhaps that entire package should be swapped out for more early game.

I think the lackey generation can help with that issue. I think the deck would need more refinement, but lackeys can be fairly good at contesting the board and staving off aggro.

Khartut + other taunts could help. But yeah Rogue has always felt like it auto-loses to face decks sadly

I don't think it's all necessary. The only Legendaries I'm after are Kronx and Waxadred. I already have Togwaggle, and we get Galakrond for free. You could definitely cheapen this with some SI:7s and Fan of Knives, etc.

But Ziliax and Flik are just superfluous, I think. Assassinate or Walk the Plank is probably just as good.

Vinicius Prado still another year for the quest to be good, I wouldn’t dust yet unless you don’t care to play burgle rogue in the future

@@admiraltonydawning3847 To be fair, the reason current pirate warrior is so strong is that it has insane value for an aggro deck. Aggro is supposed to run out of fuel around turn 5-6 if it draws its explosive early game; ancharrr and livewire lance (plus maybe the re-equip a weapon pirate) give so much value that pirate warrior can play the first five turns like a normal aggro deck, and then still be able to play quite a few strong turns thereafter.

No, it's not actually a spell, it's a minion effect. It's like how Keeper of the Grove does not deal extra damage when you have spell damage.

I play it with spirit of the shark and it makes you more aggro to midrange, it doesnt really help with the control part of the deck.

From what I've seen by now, it looks like even full control decks (in classes with actual control tools) struggle against pirates unless they bring lifegain. Ancharrr, arcanite reaper, livewire lance, the re-equip weapon card, upgrade, and captain greenskin make for an enormous amount of face damage even when you can clear the board every turn.
