Well Sharivari, you and Tor make excellent instructional videos. Tor is just amazing as an instructor. You are pretty damn good also. You, Tor, Dr. Dave all have a bit of a different style but you three are still very good instructors. Tor is just brilliant at pattern play and moving the cue ball around without using english. I know that he does use english but his ability to see natural patterns and move the ball around without english is fantastic.

I must admit, your video are great and really helpful. One question, will you make a video about long draw shots? I mean the shot is very hard and it must be something in a grip or stance that helps you a lot. Eg I don't have problem with potting those long shots but I can't put an action on the cue ball. Thanks and good luck.

Hi Tor, you mention “an angle like this on the two ball” at 5:55 to roll the cue ball to position. What angel degree would you consider that to be? 37-45? I noticed most rolling ball shots to be around those angles. Am I correct in that observation?

at 4.07 when you shoot that 5 and use the 6 as a rail it seems always best for me at least to use outside or left hand english some which in turn deadens the 6 much closer to the rail its like putting kill on the 6 ball also and keeping in line with both cue and 6 along the short rail all in 1 shot or creating an angle plus it allows you to hit a ball a hair harder if preferred .

My problem is that, I am from India and working on Work Visa in the USA. I might have to leave country in some time. That is the reason I am in hurry to take this class. I know this is not easy for you to add a new person in your busy schedule. But, I am just trying my luck. I understand your problem too.

Hey tor on your other video the slip stroke, are you sliding hand on the back stroke and the front stroke? I thought we were to take the stick back normal but slide the forward stroke. Your sliding the cue both directions is that correct? Thank stephen

Hi, yes, I was taught to slide the hand on the cue during the backstroke, then the hand grips the cue and performs a 'throwing motion.'

Same as a tangent line. It refers to the path the cue ball takes if it doesn't have any draw or high spin when it contacts the object ball.

At 9:00, you said that you have to use the sliding ball, so how come the shot you hit didn't follow the tangent line towards the top left pocket as in the diagram?
@ZeroXBilliards
@ZeroXBilliards 5 жыл бұрын
On that shot you can't use a rolling cue ball so you have to use the tangent line as a reference point and use a stun follow shot.

Ok, really love the center ball vid, as opposed to English vids.. Center ball is the best way to move that rock.. Here’s the problem.. And I can tell you only play rotation.. Use a slightly shallower angle on the 3, and peel the 5 away from the 6, opening the corner pocket.. You should have a really good shot on the 4 as well.. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.. If you keep trying to make the 3 and roll 12-14 feet to get a good angle for the 4 in the side, THEN YOULL BE BROKE YOUR WHOLE LIFE.. lol..

Everybody plays 8 ball 9 ball teaches you how to play pool but if u can't play 9 ball you will suck at 8 ball and piss your aponent off

This video is so fucking confusing when watching. Your ball video in the corner showing the side of the ball and not the front and exactly where you are hitting the spot on the cue is key to showing hot to hit it for beginners who don’t know English
