Bessy B yes there is actually options to control without going to settings When you want to turn off voice control “”TURN OFF VOICE CONTROL”” and it gets turn off And when you want to turn on //just ask sri to do “”HEY SIRI //TURN ON VOICE CONTROL “””” boom it get turn on without going back to settings and searching for it

You could ask Siri to turn it on or off, but once it's turned on you can simply say "Go to sleep" and then it will stop listening to your commands. And if you want it to be activated again, you just have to say "Wake up".

@@christiangarrett3403 With voice control turned on, you could say "Play ALBUM/ARTIST/PLAYLIST” and then say the name of the album, artist, or playlist you want to hear. If I'm not mistaken, you must have an apple music account, since the search for the album, artist, or playlist you asked occurs in the music app. Once you're listening to a song, you can ask “Next Song”, “Previous Song” or “Pause Music”. You could also ask “What’s playing?,” “What song is this?,” “Who sings this song?,” or “Who is this song by?” to hear information about the song you’re listening to.

Whenever the mic icon is the color blue means that It is listening. If it is grey then it’s not ready for any commands besides "wake up" to begin listening again. You can say "go to sleep" and it will stop preforming tasks until you walk it up again.

The default is to swipe (left or right) from the central region of the screen. To swipe from a specific region, in this case an e-mail message, you could say "show numbers" and then it will label each e-mail with a number. Then, you just have to say "swipe left [x]", where [x] is the number of the e-mail.

I don't know if there is a specific command, but the way I usually do is: 1) I call Siri and ask her to turn on voice control. 2) Say "Go home". If you have your device in front of your face, it should unblock via Face ID. Otherwise, it will ask you to enter your ID number. Then, you can say "Tap [x_1]",..., "Tap [x_n]", where x_1, x_2,..., x_n are the digits of your passcode. Note that, between steps 1 and 2, and throughout step 2, you cannot take too long, otherwise your phone will lock the screen and you'd have to start it again.

The way I do this is by calling Siri, just so the iphone "wakes up”. Once the iphone is awaken, you can say "Go home" and wait for it to scan your face, and then the phone is unlocked. If you don't want to use face id, when you say "Go home", it will appear that screen asking you to input your passcode. Then, you can say "Tap x1", "Tap x2", "Tap x3", "Tap x4", "Tap x5", "Tap x6", where x1, x2, x3, x4, x5 and x6 are the digits of your passcode. There is a clever way of doing that. Voice control allows you to create your own commands. To do that, you must say 1) "Start recording commands" 2) "Tap x1", "Tap x2", "Tap x3", "Tap x4", "Tap x5", "Tap x6", where x1, x2, x3, x4, x5 and x6 are the digits of your passcode. 3) "Stop recording commands" Then, you could name the command you've just created, "Unlock screen". So, when the screen asking you to input your passcode appears, you just have to say "Unlock screen".

You can't. It's also misses the top/bottom lines of text, on every page/document/email etc which is why it is not an accessibility feature, or shouldn't be sold as such, as you can only really use it if you are not disabled. Insanely frustrating.
