@@spinlightstudios well they wont get far unless their subscriptions are no more then $10 and can quit anytime, any more then that would mean the customer is stuck with one single brand which is impossible, I only subscribe to plugin alliance, not even pro tools, I rather buy a 3 month subscription in the black market for $10 then anyone's annual BS... So if anyone thinks subscriptions will get them rich and they can warranty banks clients are locked into annual subscriptions they are recklessly greedy. the only solution I see here for subscriptions is one union - site -source providing plugins from multiple developers (softube, UAD, Pro tools, Plugin alliance, Waves and even new developers), only then will subscriptions be an ultimate solution and solve the anti piracy issues with cracked software., but developers who upload their own cracked software to promote it before new releases or to sabotage a competitor as do softube, Soundtoys, avid etc dont want that cause they themselves keep their prices higher this way.

Really cool technology! I wonder if you will make your tracer file available to download/purchase/donation-ware? I would like to give Tracer a try but I dont have hardware to test 😜

Is it just using an impulse sample and a convolution to do this? If so there are many plugins that do the exact same thing that have been around for many years (some of which are free).

I’m very unsure of the how it all works, but seemed very similar to the way you profile a guitar amp with a kemper by sending an lmpulse sample/tone through the signal chain. Even so, it’s just an update to their mix suite “controlhub” so I don’t think it’s a plugin you buy on its own. Just a new feature.

It would be interesting to do a comparison to taking an impulse response and loading it in to Space Designer. If it gets the same result, then every DAW has some form of plugin that lets you load your own impulse responses (like Space Designer) so it would be a bit redundant maybe.

Absolutely. A couple pieces of hardware are great to have around. I almost always track with a compressor on vocals on the way in.

THIS MAKES NO SENSE - IF YOU BUY THE PLUGIN OUTRIGHT FOR 200$ YOU DONT GET THE TRACER FEATURE OR THE TRACER EXCHANGE FEATURE...HOW THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? IM TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THIS .. THESE FEATURE BELOW ARE TRHE ONES YOU DONT GET IF YOU PURCHASE THIS FOR 200$ NO-Artist Expansion Packs N0-Tracer N0-Trace Exchange

Hey mate! I just had a look, I mean, I think it’s kinda obvious they only include those features for the subscription - so they are trying to entice you to subscribe!
