i have to admit. the first time i played this mission the flank from the wall breach took me completely by suprise! good job keeping ur situational awareness!

as far as I know night vision goggled during day ops don't decrease your FOV. you can tell, because your goggles are actually up and not down and in use. The green light that night goggles emit is also a sign, if the decreased fov is active.

I Like The Way That He Named The CIA Branch "AKs And Body Bags" When there's no body bags.

It's honestly not often where you're put on the defensive in DK2, either in dev maps or Workshop content. Nice to see a bit of a switch-up. I'm gonna have to try my hand at getting absolutely destroyed by this map pretty soon, I've been really slow about getting through the maps.

Pairs, I think you’d really enjoy the Tier One Overhaul mod. It adds a new squad the NWSDG, new classes/operators and new weapons, tons of realism!

Usually my approach to this mission is either getting the vip in the closet or in between my operators in the bedroom. One man covering front and one back with vip in the middle. Usually get first man covering general forward area and get second man to close the door behind them allowing him to deploy bangs. Then based on the situation, ill either move first man to the front door to pie it while second man covers back door and bedroom area with vip somehwere in between first and second. Works 9/10 times with no injuries

Damn the VIP and the AR guy almost got shot from behind as you push out into the hallway, that's really lucky. You can see 2 guys in the center room as the game slows down right at the end/

Great video as always Papa Pairs, I was curious how you handle it especially since we have a new enemy type armed with AKMs with mounted red dots(yes you heard that right, they got red dots on their AKMs). And you did so splendidly, of course it was HE so no man can survive that, especially with 3-4 nades 🤣

Have actyally been wondering about what defensve tactics one should use in case of having ones compound assaulted, like what would you do if you were the bad guys so to speak. Cool to see DK has added this dimension and even cooler seeing you break it down.

Door Kickers 2 is awesome as a multiplayer coop game

A whiteboard of knowledge video about defensive cqb tactics would be great. Especially for those in your audience who choose to have guns for home defence in case of home invasion.

I have never in my life seen a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a door. 2 bathroom, both with baths? A "safe-house" with a single exit? Who designs these maps?

I got the lone wolf achievment on this by making a corridor of smoke grenades and just walking out :)

So defensive CQB is just SAFE but at really close range?

What I did is cover all possible entrance to the room. Move to the door near the extraction point, in L formation so there will be eyes front and back. Throw a flash to the door. Then move in to clear the hallway and run like hell to extraction. Oh and I recommend playing the game with the mod, Bullets go through doors. It basically makes anyone who stops infront of a door to be a buddyf*cker.

I understand right click to aim a certain way, but I have tried many ways and cannot seem to figure that out. But in every video people are using this feature. Thanks in advance

This mission is poor and massively flawed for this game. The original goal of the game appeared to be "clear the rooms". That's good, but when the AI "spawns" into rooms, it totally ruins the game play. On this map SPOILER: The top far right room, they blow a hole in the wall and spawn in there. When you go into the room to clear it, it is clear and the locked door is still locked. Leave the room and they start spawning in it again. Totally ruins the map, totally ruins the idea of the whole game.
