If these questions are not understood, we could cause thousands of years of uninhabitable land for us😢

Florida's energy situation is really difficult. New nuclear power plants are probably impossible to finance and offshore wind power is practically impossible because of the hurricanes. Large scale solar parks would require too much land, there simply isn't enough space. Coal is too inefficient and causes too many emissions. New power stations that run on natural gas with the latest filter technologies to keep emissions as low as possible seem to be the most realistic solution. Perhaps a few more modern waste-to-energy plants might help, too. Natural gas and waste-to-energy would also pose no threat to Florida's ground water. No matter what solution Florida someday chooses one thing os for sure: It's gonna be damn' expensive!
