I am back with another saree Diy and today it is a tutorial on how you can convert an old silk saree into a gorgeous evening gown
These border gowns are very much in fashion these days and they look absolutely stunning.
The best thing about this diy is you have to use an old saree out of your wardrobe which doesn't have to be very expensive and Saree's fashion changes very quickly so we are habitual of buying many saree's for every other occasion. If not us then our moms, big sisters or even mothers-in-law tend to have a lot of sarees lying in their wardrobe. They are just waiting to be worn some way or the other so let's just get them out and make ourself a sexy outfit.

Details about the fabric: 5 metre for bottom( lining and saree fabric ) for bodice part ( 1 meter for saree and lining ) then for the border( 1.5 meter fabric cut into 4-5 straps of 7 inch width)

I have a plain, old saree and was thinking to reuse it. I can cut out the hooks, transform the blouse and use it as the top and the plain saree as skirt, as per your video. Huh... after scrolling through a bunch of videos, your thumbnail caught my eyes. So pretty work you have done 🤩 Thanks❤️

Teally easy and cute. Just few suggestions, The sleeves must be cut slightly (0.25 inch) on the front side so that they for better...... also whatevr the length of the bodice may, if you give a slight v shape at the centre say by 0.5 or 1" then it will give a beautiful waistline. Eg. if bodice length is 14", make the sides as 13 or 13.5 and the centre 14". Or 14 on sides and the centre 14.5" or 15". This will look like a v shape and give a slimmer effect. Just a tip
