Stacey picks up right where he left-off a few weeks ago, and proceeds to install a brand new short bed, on the chassis of a truck that was born a LONG BED. That's right with the cutting done the next step is to assemble a new short bed using all new, aftermarket parts. You hear people say, "If it was that easy, everybody would be doing it." Well, it is that easy, and a lot of people are doing it...and YOU need to be one of them! Now... chop to it!

My 1st car was a 1970 GMC half ton pickup truck long bed with a manual transmission and steering

Mine was a 1970 CST/10 with a big block 402, TH 400 and a 12 bolt with posi and 4.10:1. No Ac though it has power steering. 4 wheel drum brakes. It was my dad's truck and he gave it to me in 1997. I still have it, but I blew up the 402. It has a 350 in it now. I almost lost it in the caldor fire in California about 18 months ago. It really motivated me to start restoring it. I just lost my dad to mesothelioma in August so I really want to finish it for him.

@@jessdigs GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FATHER, My father died losing his battle with colon cancer in February 2017,so I know how you feel 💔 😢 🙏. I bought the GMC truck and my mom drove it home and I taught myself how to drive it

How many friends does a guy need to not have in order to justify buying a bed-lifting crane? In the barrio, that's about 24 cervezas to get 'er done. Some skirt-steak on the grill if the bolts are rusty.

How much do you cut off a frame of a long bed chevy square body? Is it 20 as well? Same locations?

Just like that, with the placement of the new fuel tank, bang, no spare tire any longer, the tank took it's place.

That's all it takes 22 1/2 minutes wrong it would take four guys don't know exactly what they're doing about two weeks .. LMFAO the magic of television
