Your strategy / decision makes sense. Prioritize the mission-critical stuff, come back later on to do the lipstick-and-rouge. Even with the dents, etc., it'll still be bad-ass. Just let me know if you're capable of refabricating a 2006 Chevy Colorado standard cab's rocker and cab corners because I can't find a single shop in my west-central Indiana region willing or able to do it...

Its your build, do it your way brother! I like the effect and a satin clear is the way to go, corn starch in regular clear will make it dry dull or satin.

have you tried flicking some fire over the paint to burn it then rubbing it back to heat damage the paint I have wanted to try that

Had to put grampas truck on the road for a couple days well mine was getting fixed 2004 f150 drove past his house with it and had a moment.lol. give your dads truck a good once over and get it back on the road and enjoy it man not ever car needs to be show car winners
