This makes my heart sing! No matter the differences in our political and religious beliefs we should all still be able to see and build on our common enjoyments and become friends. The Pipe and a good Baccy is so amazing at bringing together good people!

Enjoyed the video! You guys should do more videos together. Interesting to hear a pipesmoker say the words Straight Edge. I've been Straight Edge for over 10 years during the 90's. Not sure if he's talking about the same Straight Edge but interesting nonetheless.

Love your content. Got a question I just started pipe smoking and I and I’ve noticed I have a lot of saliva. Would you recommend staying with a strait pipe or a bend pipe? Thanks!

I got to figure put how to get to one of these events. I never seem to know about them until after they're over.

I’ve got kind of an odd question but I’m sure others have dealt with it. Relatively new pipe smoker, only about six months. I’ve noticed an extra amount of buildup on my teeth since I started pipe smoking. I pay attention closely to my hygiene. Brush 2 to 3 times a day, floss once a day. Is this something that is inevitable or do I need to do something more as a pipe smoker to combat the buildup? Great to see you gentlemen getting along
@davisjacobs574811 ай бұрын
In my experience, it's something that's more inevitable. But, can be delayed if you brush with a stiffer brush and use a slightly abrasive tooth brush/powder. It might sound crazy, but I try to brush every couple days with a boar hair bristle brush and a course tooth powder. The brush is harder to get your hands on, but if you check out Sutler of Fort Scott, they have them periodically, they make reproduction Civil War personal items for reenactors (which I am). For the tooth powder, I recommend a company called Van Man or making your own from a tiny dash of salt and a table spoon of baking soda. The brush takes some getting used to and can cause some discomfort at first, as it is very stiff. But, it'll really help with build up. I hope this helps!

Allan, what was the name of the artisan pipe maker that Adam bought that pipe he had from the show. I would like to reach out to him. Great interview with Adam enjoyed him quite a lot. I have watched some of his YT videos and he has the passion for the Pipe Smoking Lifestyle and will truly attract that next generation. Thanks Again...God Bless

hi folks, I wanna ask for your opinion, I year ago I started to pipe smoking after watch every Muttnchop’s great video, I bought a variety of pipes and tobaccos I thought I probably liked, then I “dedicated” my pipes as follow: Pipe 1: Capstan, Escudo, Elizabethan Mixure, Give me Liberty Pipe 2: White Knight, Bengal Slices, Plump Pudding, Black House, Nightcap Pipe 3: Early Morning, Nightcap Pipe 4: HH Bold Kentucky, Three Nuns, Double Pressed Latakia…. my question is if according to flavor and kind of tobacco is the right decision… thank you your comments!!
@davisjacobs574811 ай бұрын
It doesn't matter quite as much as most think. Of course, don't go smoking a ton of aromatics in all your pipes. But, it can actually be a lot of fun to smoke a Virginia blend in a latakia dedicated pipe. You will pick up a different note than you would otherwise. In general, I have a collection of pipes dedicated to specific blend types. So, in your case, I'd use pipe 2 for all that you have listed with it, plus the early morning, nightcap, and double pressed latakia. It sounds like you have a Virginia pipe, two latakias, and an everything else pipe. I'd cut it down, just for now, to where you have two Virginia and two latakia. I smoke dark fire Kentucky blends out of either pipe, as the flavors play well with each other. But, of course, that's just my experience and yours might be different. However, at the end of the day, don't stress it too much. While I have pipes set aside for each blend type, I don't stick strictly to it. The ultimate thing is, have fun and enjoy piping!
