I always liked Conway derp. I use it like a medium or as a back up for heavies. Works pretty well, but you need to be careful

For anyone who has a more restricted credits, I recommend bringing at least 1-2 normal HE so you can blind shot LT spots without bleeding too much money

@@WhirlwindCK what difference would that 130 pen make while shooting at a target like a t49 with 40mm armour at the most? You must shoot gold at arty and grilles LMFAO

Yes, with any tank, he can b useful! Just like in wt, where they fire bullets to see if someone is behind bushes.

@@barthalemewnut7809 I absolutely shoot gold at Grilles and lights. Haven't you ever hit a track and failed to pen HE? The higher pen gold HE makes it much more likely you can pen through thin spaced armor. However, I do not shoot golden HE at arties. I shoot AP, since that is the easiest round to pen and one-shots an arty anyways. There's absolutely no reason to shoot either kind of HE at a target below ~900 Hp that you can easily pen with AP. Also, let me be perfectly clear: I like winning my games. I run food on every tank. If a tank has gold APCR, I will not load a single standard round. Only exceptions are premium tanks that I'm using for credit grinding and not 3 marking.

@@WhirlwindCK "If you don't care about stats or winning" Some people care about winning, but they can't afford to spend 7200 a pop to simply check whether there's a guy standing behind a bush or not. If you only load gold on any tank then congratulations, you are not the demographics of the tips. Even Skill still load standard rounds in his tank lmao.

How to buff FV4005? Swap tiers with Conway and add some hitpoints + some penetration (extra 30mm let say to both shells on this gun).

I too prefer Conway with the bigger 140mm gun, firing mostly AP and only a bit of HESH. With the 120mm I found myself having to stay exposed for longer and taking too much damage.

If you are very high skilled player, no. From this side one option would be going to the middle road in city and shooting light tanks/other tanks on the field to the side in the beginning and after that seeing what you can do.

@@m3diok3r I've been there myself, but acting like a gigantic choad in chat is not the way to deal with those kinds of issues. Some people don't play the way you would like them to, and that's something you can't change very often. It's WOT, after all ;-)

Oh shit also forgot to mention, been watching you on and off since you had 100/200 viewers on twitch. Glad to see you growing. I also forgot to mention that the WZ was indeed outspoted and as you can see in the chat he was afraid, althought he could of suicided and trade light tank for light tank. That's assuming he managed to spot me which he could have coz I have 2 skill crew feelsbadman.

Hey Skill! As a general inquiry to all your videos introducing tanks: Could you highlight the limitations of gun depression (like Standard B / Leopard in the back, O-Ho in the front) on future videos? Same goes for gun traverse range, which in case of Conway is limited to 90 degrees once you switch to the HESH gun, changing gameplay a bit. You mention this throughout for a couple of tanks but maybe this could be a thing to implement as a standard rule, or "impoRRRtant ting to highlight!" Just a thought that came to mind. Take care!

This tank has no armor but be careful. APCR rounds can bounce from the gunshield pretty easy.

I find it pretty hard to get credits to play tanks like these. For example, Im now playing charioteer to get convoy, pretty much never using golds, just shooting standards which are like 1200 per shot. When i lose the game im like -10k to -20k credits, and when i win the game its like +1 to +5k credits. All this goes to resupply amunition. Any tips to get more credits?

Skillman, what's the magic words I have to use in order to not have an ugly grind on my way to the FV4005? This thing was a disgusting loser that had me being plucked like a potato laying out in the open. I see in watching your matches you're blessed with enemies more like turkeys than eagles UNLIKE what I've been matched against with a disturbing number of lopsided losses. It's been a couple of years since I thought about leaving WoT and grinding this miserable concoction of non-existent balanced matchmaking had me there. I mean it this thing really sucked! I gave you a thumbs up on general principals!

I didnt like Conway at all, the only thing I liked was hitting with 120mm penetration HESH rounds for 520 in avarge. Literally had more of those rounds than gold. 1100m/s velocity, that was nuts

19:00 and the best thing is - ElleJ04 is damn noob. 14000 battles, 900WN8, 47% WR... oh yeah, typical :). And the best thing is - if he just stop yelling, only focused on battle he could go from recent WN8 1040 to approx 1400-1500 I would say.

I agree not to flame fellow players, but it is mega frustrating when you try to help/give info on enemy position and they do nothing - which is entirely their prerogative don't get me wrong. Case in point, that LT spotting their T49 in the last game could have been the difference between a win and a loss, and he had plenty of snipers in support and people telling him to push up into the T49.

WOT is no longer a game. it's just garbage. the 5-15's or 15-5's were bad enough. for the last week have had several complete blowouts in first 2-3 minutes. yesterday played off and on. out of 24 games i ended up on winning side 4 times. mostly tier 7-9 their algorithm/rng is utter BS guess i'm just a garbage player though. rant over. have enjoyed your for a good while, keep doing what you love dude

sorry to say but i have to disagree with you on the last battle skill that useless LT in your team doing everything wrong he is playing a LT for a reason , it is to scout and spot the team is literally dying because he did not make the play when you especially have given the information about enemy LT , and yet he choose to be an idiot and sit there doing absolutely nothing otherwise , the map would be open much wider for everyone else do to something for the win
