Conway was a part of our family, I know every time he was in Houston, my mother would go see him,.. He had a personality out of this world and his singing voice was top notch. I've been to this site, it is rather hard to swallow. When she passed we played Hello Darlin' that's what she wanted.I just have this feeling mom, my dad & Conway are all enjoying life on the other side. They all left us far too soon. I know Loretta is missing her friend. We all miss him

loved Conway and his music. was lucky enough as young as I was to have seen him in concert quite a few times. boy did I cry when I heard of his passing. got to see him with George jones and merle haggard together on the living legends tour in the 80s. think he deserved more than this. he should of had a memorial like George Jones. RIP Conway!!

I met Conway in Fall of 1983 when I was 14. I am now 50. My dad had a friend that was friends with Harold aka Conway... we went to Nashville, we got to tour Twitty City, we got to MEET and TALK and listen to his album Merry Twistmas in the Studio there.. BUT he was married to MICKEY at the time... aka Temple Medley. She was a VERY nice woman... VERY nice and funny and loved those grandkids!! WE got to spend the night with them in his very huge home. Conway was definitely a gentleman and had a huge heart for those he loved. I will always remember those 2 days we had with him.

This is awesome Mr. Gilstrap. I quiet by chance found Conway’s grave after moving to Nashville in 1995. Going to Twitty City and asking people where it was, I searched the whole cemetery and finally found it. I do wish it had his performer name on there as Tammy Wynette does. This is still a nice place I suppose. I must go visit again it’s been a few years since I have. I sure miss him and wish he were still here. He’s just always been a sweet kind sweetheart of a person and the best friend any song ever had. Thanks for this video. 🐤❤️💔

+Katy Bleil There was plenty to know of Conway's wife. Nothing good. She made it seem he pursued her but it was the other way around. She was afraid it might take some money from her if she'd done better. It's her fault there's not a Twitty City museum. She didn't treat his kids right,

Totally loved Conway and I know he wouldn't appreciate being compared to Jesus. That's totally disrespectful and almost blasphemous. Jesus wasn't in the grave long so He didn't need a grave marker. We all know who wanted it this way and it wasn't Conway. He thought it was crazy that they wanted to call him Conway at first but he got used to it. His fans were extremely important to him and he would have liked to have something that had "Conway Twitty" on it for his fans. (Last time I saw "her" she was laughing while at his estate sale.)

She was definitely a black widow. She caught her prey and wouldn't let his memory be preserved. (tried to say he pursued her) She never let him out of her sight. She was in co-hoots with the executor and his kids didn't stand a chance. Thanks to her we have no Twitty City museum. Thankfully they changed the laws, thanks to Conway's kids but it was too late for them. Hope it helps others.

I spoke my mind a long time ago. But didn't say everything I wanted too. But I an now. I hope after conway wife dies that his kids move conway and give him the stone he should have. All she wanted was money his money. If she truly loved him, she would have kept everything he had or gave everything to his children. I meet him and I feel I new him. I have his boys but not the girls. They should have had there dad's things. What really hurt is how she treated his kids, I am sure he turned over in his grave. She sold things that wasn't hers and that up me and it up set his kids and his kids mom. She wanted to sell love letters between conway and the love of his life, his children mother. I miss him and I always will. The anniversary of his death is I'm a few days, that's why I am writing this. He is on my mine. I will always love conway.

Harold Jenkins did some fine Rockabilly Music at Sun Records before the start of his big Country career and a tune called 'Gimme Some Lovin' (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mbSplseXq6vLcpc.html) can be heard here. Hey, its not how the stone looks like or all of that stuff its what he left behind in music that matters....Conway has a great list of songs for us to enjoy forever from them early Rockin Days to the very end of his Country years...enjoy it!
