Conway Twitty said his songs resonated because he "sang about things women wanted to hear, that men have trouble saying."
@reneetherese19633 жыл бұрын
Totally agree! This is not a direct quote from the man himself, but someone wrote about him: "He was singing to the women but he was talking to the men." I like that.

They just don't have good country like this anymore this stuff these days grrrrrr my mom used to turn his music up loud and dance in the living room she loved him! She saw him in concert in Fort Worth back in the early 80's gosh I miss my mom maybe she finally met him in heaven :)

They mention in this video that Conway's ability to change his sound was what made him so popular. I disagree, what made him so popular was his ability to sing. His Only Make Believe song, find me any popular artist today that can sing it remotely close to him.

It's sad his Kids and their Mother Miki was not part of this program. He had many years with them. I feel they would have been the appropriate People to tell his life Story. Not a greedy Woman who pushed his Kids out and cut them off when their Dad died.

His daughter Joni comments in the part. However, I would agree that the gold digger shouldn't have had any part.
@mbrgrbr3 жыл бұрын
His son Michael and daughter Joni were on it. And I'm not defending his widow by any means but I will say that from what people have said from what I seen in interviews they did love each other and she was also a part of his life. It's sad that a lot of times a death of a loved one can bring out the worst in people. I didn't know any of them though I would have loved to have met Conway but this is just my opinion.

She got salary when she worked for him. Got millions when he passed. She’s greedy and karma will get her. His kids deserved the interviews.
