I hope we get a dessert paradise part 2 update where Whipped Cream gets a costume, the update ended on a cliff hanger and if we do get a part 2, maybe we could have Red Pannacota playable + The cliffhanger cutscene implies Black Sugar Duck became a cookie, so that could open up potential for a part 2

my thoughts the tbd update was really cool with the 2 new additions coffee candy fire spirit kinda made me go insane getting the costume and haberno has a really cute design pastel meringue and currant cream were 2 of my favorites not only because they’re basically opposites, but still live in the same building the centipede and peppercorn update was kinda harsh but the way it was represented was kinda bad i really loved the lotus buff but making the magic candy and getting a new pet was HELL, pond dino is just your average baby dino potato cookie really sets a happy mood and with shine muscat her design is really pretty almost matching a model the season 8 update was amazing, even though we didn’t get some cookies i’m still happy with the ones shown and their designs, abyss monarch had to be one of my still favorites langue de chat really cares about his family while still being in court which is really sweet, cappuccino is just your average worker always being tired but still dreams of going home okchun was one of my favorite npc’s to be added into crob, her design is so pretty along with her skill, gim seems just like a cool guy blue slushy trying really hard to be a dessert guardian is really sweet, when sugar swan released i immediately got her, the design is so pretty cannoli and s’more being friends is really cute, cannoli tries her hardest and s’more just has no enemies stollen cookie being a sweeter tiramisu is like if they swapped and i really love the design, strawberry cream cookies seems like a silent santa which is nice.

Bro this year has been a roller coaster of emotions and reactions for this franchise... literally. We've got the Moonlight and Coffee Candy update to kick the year off, the removal of the gacha system, the EXTREMELY controversial Yogurca update that I won't even dare elaborate on, Lotus Dragon and Black Pearl getting new costumes, the absolute goat that is Golden Cheese Cookie's update, introduction of the golden star currency thingies... istg our community has been through so much 😭

Yeah, plus Sugar Swan finally being introduced as a playable Cookie after being nothing more than an important character to the lore or an NPC for YEARS (potentially even an entire decade), part two to the Sugartera story, a new common CRK ship that happens to be Linzer Cookie and Creme Brulee Cookie (which as of now are both CRK exclusive), the beloved Pond Dino Cookie being introduced to CROB for the first time, the introduction of the Palamon of Promise Cookies that are an absolute PAIN to get, the new Dragon rarity in CRK, and more...so far, we've only seen half of what 2024 holds for us, and it's already been crazy for the Cookie Run community with 2 new games for the franchise, a new legendary cookie group in CROB to kick the year off, the new awakening system for Ancient Cookies and the new Beast rarity in CRK...what else awaits us *this* year? Anything that you are personally anticipating for what will happen to the Cookie Run games in the second half of 2024? To answer my own question if you're willing to hear my answer, Mint Wafer Cookie in CROB (I mean- yes, we already know a lot about him, but I realized he's the 200th permanent Cookie to come to CROB...I think. I feel like that's not going to go unnoticed by Devsis, and I also feel like to celebrate the 200th Cookie coming to CROB, we will get a ton of rewards from events which I REALLY hope as someone who only paid 3 dollars in CROB from what I can remember), the next part to the Sugar Swan story (and I am also hoping for Black Sugar Duck to be made a playable Cookie as I'm planning to save up a ton of crystals for her if she becomes playable), Beast-Yeast Episode 5-6 or a new special story (maybe even both) for this year, and what lore is awaiting us in all of the Cookie Run games.

Unpopular opinion: It wasn't the Yogurca update itself what bothered me but instead it was the rude and harsh way the fandom reacted (I agree it was a terrible idea to add bombs but does a magic lamp or a flying carpet really fall under the same category?). I felt like people would chase me with torches and pitchforks for liking the game and drawing the characters. Not everyone in the fandom is like this I know but sometimes the Cookie Run community can get very VERY salty.

You're right, the community went overboard with the update For my part, I enjoyed it a lot, and it was more because they had added more lore to one of my favorite cookies (although in the end there will be more argumentative holes but it doesn't matter ;°;) Plus, the breakout they had made for the update was pretty :D I have seen your comments about the update and I totally agree with you, the community reacted in a very explosive way and although the reason is understood, it does not justify it.

True, the laboratory overhaul and the initial version of the raid run weren't "good" but this did not warrant everyone exploding and attacking the community managers (I even read that some people went as far as sending death threats to the devs 🙀) Again. It isn't my intention to invalidate other people's discomfort with certain things or changes in the game (my apologies if I did). What I'm trying to say is that criticism to the developers must be handled with respect and care instead of going berserk and wanting the whole series to be shut down. Because if criticism is given rudely and with insults, then the creators will naturally avoid it or even worse: be emotionally harmed. Sometimes I let the devs know if there's something wrong or something that can be improved within the game but I do my best to be nice when giving it.

I'm glad that sometimes dev does take the community into account and that must be appreciated After all, we don't want a #SaveRose but now with Mic Mac (also, what happened at Rose's? I've only found English-speaking videos and I barely understand xd)

Personal opinion: January: always good to see something about TBD February: Better than last year by far March: How I adore two opposite characters April: The update that felt normal (I come from Mexico so racism is a joke here) Mayo: Sorry but the story is the only good thing, the rest... zzz and PD trial is HELL June: The cookies I used the most for months wow Julio: Summary, I loved everything August: Roguefort Cookie had its development and two easy to empathize characters September: It's good to see that the first update you played has another part and it was beautiful for me October: A theme that has been around since the beginning of Cookie Run but Sugar Swan feels very wasted, it is only saved by the purpose of BS, Pilot and Whipped Cream and that's it. November: Meeting of all the cookies in a story and two cookies with an adorable relationship of friends, which is well crafted December: I almost didn't like Stollen but Strawberry Cream is her therapist, it changed her for the better It's just my summary opinion of the year's updates and with the Yogurca update I don't want to be destroyed, I just follow my culture For me I liked: January, February, March, July, August, September, November and December (almost all of them lmao)

In Mexico it is very common in black humor and many jokes are racist (it is black humor for a reason) that is why here we do not take those things very personally, in the USA it is different and they take it very personally (Don't lie, most of them are) but that's a matter of culture, from generations to cycles. Just specific to avoid misunderstandings ok? And in fact throughout LATAM they make those jokes and They take it with humor, after all black humor always has to affect at least one

Having been playing this game for 6 years, I'd like to say: "This year, all updates were fun except for yogurca which was poorly timed because it was released in Ramadan. It could have been better without those disasters mentioned here. Both potato and shiny muscat updates were fun but I couldn't play that much because I had college exams at that moment. Season 7 was nice but yogurca and 6th anniversary update. Season 8 was fun to play but I wish the breakout rewards weren't limited to the last cookie relay, running with 20 cookies is already a hassle compared to 2017. The 7th anniversary update was the best of all, the wallpaper was so gorgeous that I set it as my laptop wallpaper as of 31 October 2023. The holiday update was impressive and emotional at the same time." TL;DR Happy holidays, I hope 2024 will be a great year to play this game.

It's unlikely that you'll be voicing her if she comes to the game, but considering that the Sugar Swan is likely to play an important role in the CRK story, I do believe that both Sugar Swan and Blue Slushy are ones that could come to the game

My favorites are Habanero Cookie, Pond Dino Cookie, Blue Slushy Cookie, and Sugar Swan Cookie Peppercorn Cookie is honestly fine, if only the you-know-what update hadn't had such bad timing, was not racist, and were represented accurately.

Personally, I liked peppercorn. In other words, the update was something racist but coming from another country and another language, I only care about the content and not how they represent, even so if they release another update again about Yogurca at least get Serpent Jelly out and do more research or else the 6th anniversary thing will happen

S'more cookie has to be the best cookie by far in a long time I wasn't interested in any of the cookies for some time come on I love s'mores and cookies and combining s'mores and cookie all in one is very delicious I'm imagining eating s'mores cookie I'm tasting the graham cracker the marshmallow the chocolate and delicious cookie this is this is very tasty plus he's very chill go with the flow kind of cookie it's just the perfect cookie just very perfect I would put it in s tear in my opinion also is part of a the 7th anniversary this is perfect I love the number 7 and it's the 7th anniversary this is just perfect the seventh anniversary was just the perfect event just perfect just perfect saying that that's s'mores cookie and the 7th anniversary is perfect this is what I needed thank you so much developer sisters 5:48
