You girls made mom and dad so proud. Mary, thank you for this. I have mom’s cookbook and I’m not a total veggie yet but meatless Monday’s and the logic behind it really motivate me. I see so much Linda in you Mary, but I do see your dad’s mannerisms and expressions. The McCartneys are such a beautiful family. Of course being Paul’s child is a huge blessing but Linda was maybe one of the best wives and mothers out there.

Lifelong vegetarian here, who has owned a copy of your mum's first cookbook for decades and still use it today. Those mushrooms look fab, and that dip so easy to whip up, I'm definitely going to be trying that! Also love the family names for the cocktails. The Maccarita and now the Stellabellini.

I remember Mary on the cover of her dad's album 'McCartney' when she was probably a week old (She's inherited her dark hair from Paul) with half sister Heather, Linda's daughter. She seems like an intelligent lady who likes to cook vegetarian food.

This is so delightful and I love that Mary is doing this! If anyone is interested in a slightly more healthy version of the same recipe try blending pumpkin seeds with coconut and substitute it for the all purpose flour. Also they crisp up beautifully in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Use parchment paper. 👍

I loved your mother's cookbooks and I still make many of her dishes from memory. However five years ago I had a heart attack and I've had to go completely whole-food, plant-based and I can't have any fried food at all, now. You get much better ingredients in the UK than in the US.
