Four days ago, I came home tired and worn out. I sat down at my desk with a cold cold soda, and turned on my KZfaq wondering what to watch before my nap I desperately wanted. Have to admit I was having a bad day and really just wanted something to go right for once... and there you are!!!! I was so happy to see you, and you have brightened up my day! Thank you. I didn't know how the crab was caught, I thought only HUGE SHIPS from somewhere by Alaska got crabs. Thank you for everything you do. One other thing, I cooked one of your meals, and it was delicious!! Absolutely GREAT!!!

So, I live in Oregon too and I was like OMG you live in Oregon and never been crabbing. Next time you go crabbing. Check the tide you want to go when the tide is coming in, also leave your chicken on the counter over night. Crab love smelly chicken. Also, you can keep your crab in water. You are crabbing where my parents go all the time. 😊 Love your videos. It's cool watching you go to different places. I have only lived in Oregon for 5 years. Most of that was stuck inside due to covid and college. But my parents have lived here off and on all their lives.

You can keep the red crabs. There is no size restriction the last time I was in Oregon. They are actually tastier.

I was just coming to the comments to say this haha. You can keep 24 Red Rock crabs of any size/sex in Oregon. It's been awhile since I've had Red Rock crab but I recall their meat being sweeter than Dungeness crab.

Used to go crabbing with my dad as a kid, I loved pulling up the cage and seeing all the crabs. Dad had a tall wooden basket and it would be filled to the top, we would spend hours cracking and eating all of them, some great memories.

I love your cooking videos. I grew up on Long Island, NY and we used to go out at night in the boat to hunt for crabs. We ran the boat under the bridge and shined the flashlight into the water. The crabs would swim up to the surface and we would scoop them up with the crab net.

An untold number of decades ago when being raised by my parents, they used to take me crabbing and fishing at a place called Moss Landing on the Monterey Bay. We would get our fill of Rock Craps and take them home and prepare them right away. While they were cooking in a large pot, mom would make some fresh homemade bread. We also made it a point to have some Monterey Jack cheese on hand. It was always very delicious. What a treat. My month is watering.......

Curious. When you said you were going to broil it, I thought you were going to put it beneath the flame. At least that is the only way I know of broiling in an oven. I use the red, orange and yellow bell peppers in a variety of dishes. Most of the time I cook them slowly for about 15 minutes. That gives them a few minutes more to achieve maximum sweetness and they are sweet. I use them in frittatas, omelettes, potato salad and soups. I'm going to make stuffed peppers with one of each color. See how interesting that is.

Oh, one other thing, I have been watching you on my tv, that's why I have not been leaving any comments. I just happen to be on my MAC tonight and reviewing some things on KZfaq... then I remembered to leave you a comment on your last posting. Thank you so much for sharing and showing your adventures, it sure puts a smile on our faces.... we're not so lucky to be adventurous like you... you're brave for one thing, there's no way I would hike and camp in the mountains by myself... I'm too chicken. Oh, yeah, and it's always great to see your girlfriend, she is one strong woman to hold down the house on her own... I'd be chicken too, would have to have other family members with me, I'm a scaredy cat.
