👍You can use boiled and deboned fish if u don’t eat meat. You can improvise steamer by putting metal tray, 3-4 golf ball sizeballs of aluminum foil, or strainer inside the pan with an inch of water. I eat it with rice, or mashed potato and gravy, with steamed veges on the side. Love embutido sandwich also

Have your mom added raw eggs and bread crumbs to bind the mixture.. actually you can use the regular pot and add water but make sure your foil wrap is tight

I don’t use bread crumbs in my Embutido mixture. I add milk-soaked bread instead which gives it an extra layer of flavor.

Regarding the Embutido your mother cooked few months ago, you can also fry them whole first, then slice and serve drizzled with tomato catsup, if you’d like but it’s your preference of course. 🤗

Embutido we put cornstarch en bread, when you cut it will not broken.

Now your mom is demonstrating her skills in cooking pork embotido . She made it like in Philippines. Sometimes in Philippines we mixed the ground beef with chopped hotdogs and chopped ham. wow! It looks like so yummy. You can dip in catchup or sweet,chili sauce if you want. Congratulations mommy and thanks for sharing your embutidos. I just bought here ready made in Filipino market just to cook it oven or steam for in a very short time since it was steamed already and frozen. You can also fry with very little oil. Enjoy eating. That is such an ambitious recipe to try but you did it! In place of using bread crumbs, you can also use flour to help bind and tenderize the embutido log.

It’s almost like meatloaf here in America but without raisins n green peas! 😘

You can eat embutido with bread, like sandwich. I add milk to my mix so it's not dry. We don't put sauce in the mix but you can eat it with ketchup. If you let it cool down it's easier to slice. You can eat this cold but fry in little oil to brown the outside of the roll.
