I made my Polish father in law a salmon sinigang when he visited us in Chicago and he said they have something similar in Polish. When we went to visit in Poland he made me pickled soup… with rice instead of barley lol. Matt and Maricar you guys made me laugh with the jokes 😂

We have few sour soups in Poland, best one is kapuśniak (made of sauer kraut) and żurek (made of fermented rye flour) Thanks and have a good day!

using rice water seems like a smart way to add starch into dish BUT imo you should not do it because rice is heavy on arsenic (especially on outer layers) and that water would have some arsenic and such. you can google this. instead you can use a little bit of corn starch or something to substitude. lovely family btw, wish you happiness.

Hi guys. Excellent chef you married Matt. If you Google the American TV kids show of many years ago called the Muppets, there is one character called the Cookie Monster. Matt’s voice on this cooking portion of video is exact same as the famous Cookie Monster🤣. I will see you guys in Dec. as I need this Camotes laid back uncrowded , no city life for me, no nearby airport.. haha for the start of my retirement from being an Air Traffic Controller ( one of the top 3 most stressful jobs in the world) ugh. Please hold off moving again for a while..🤣🤣🤣. Thanks again for the ray of sunshine your videos brings to us. I will email you as I wish to become a Patron. What is the procedure?
