They're not🤦♀️ I own guiniea pigs for more than 15 years now. My parents have bred guinea pigs for a long time. Tey're in fear, carefully observing... Guinea pigs don't like beeing touched, not even by other piggies ... if they do it on purpose it' because of lacking safe space or extrem cold. He forces them to sit together ... in this case they're just forced to do so. Next step from this behavior would be to scream in a high pitched whistle like sound to scare him off and warn potential others. This guy don't know anything about his pets ... he even claims that you should remove all housing from the cage because "they get more trustfull this way and live longer" . That's bullshit!🤦♀️ Guinea pigs live in the mountains and the main predators to hunt them are flying above them to observe and grab them. It' s in their genes to hide... In Germany we call their kind "Fluchttiere" (flight animal) because they got an supräer high flight response. They NEED multiple places to hide AND every piggy needs its own place.
