You're a great friend Laila. I'm glad to see others also do this. My mum taught me never to visit a new mum empty handed. I take food and also clean or do anything the new mum needs help with whilst I'm there. Everything looked yummy! 🤤

Every nation has his own version of Jollof rice, the link up here is from Nigerian jollof. But our sister Leila is a Ghanian KZfaqr so I think she made Ghanian jollof. 🤣🤣 the names I mentioned earlier are from Ghanian beauties my love. 😊 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭

It's so crazy to see how many of our foods in the Caribbean are inspired by our African ancestry. We call "jollof rice" pelau where I'm from and have many of the foods from that time but the names and preparations has varied. The food looks smackingggg!!♥️

You are so welcome! Really glad you enjoyed it... It's garlic! We buy loads of fresh garlic and blend it with olive oil. We store it in the fridge and use it for cooking. Really good.
