I'm not sure about this, but it may be to save time. The goal ultimately is to get to cooking the pie and thus burning the pie as quickly as possible, so most likely the steps inbetween don't matter much so long as they get to yeet the pie into the oven and burn it as quick as they possibly can XD

It's a strat to save time. Yes, there are strats to this game already. Not optimized yet but it's the early days, give it time, plenty of room for improvement ;)

This was probably done to get by faster, just to get to chucking that pie into the oven as fast as possible. After all, I know from experience that burning food can be faster than cooking it perfectly...

@@c.b.7172 Hey I've been speedrunning for a while now, glad you're getting into the community, welcome! Anyways, the program used in this video and most speedruns is named "LiveSplit" and if you're using an emulator you can use something like OBS to record the timer and emulator. But, if you only have a phone and a ds to play on, you can use the timer app on your phone and record with your phone, hope it helps :)
