Yea if memory serves me right, they clearly react to things that would cause US pain. Like electric shocks and stuff. They clearly avoid it. Video I watched said it might not be the same type of pain our human nerves feel but they clearly feel something akin to it.

Is it texture bc I just can't do many textures. Crab can be rubbery if cooked too long or on a hot bar too long but some are gelatinous. They smell fishy sometimes and I won't eat then. They should not smell fishy. That's a sign of being too old and dead before they cook it. Not like this. Hr cooks it right after. I think if you had it in a good restraunt like at the beach side.

My cousin came from the coast Washington to Idaho to visit my family. He brought us a bunch of pre cooked Dungeness crab that he kept on ice the entire drive. We heated it up and paired it with steaks from Costco and baked potatoes. We ended up having so much leftover crab meat that me and my stepsister sat at the table just cracking open the crab and harvesting the meat. We then froze it, and a week later, we made crab chowder with it. My mom makes the best clam chowder and so we switched it up and used crab instead of clams. It was the most delicious thing ever and it's honestly probably the best thing to do with your leftover crab.
