Hi Leena, I have 4 children by myself, no family, no husband. 5 years ago one of them got cancer. Before, I thought my life was hard, but I realized that the life I was complaining about before was nothing compared to what I was dealing with after my child was diagnosed with cancer. That's when I regretted complaining before about those little things. Alhamdulillah, today, my son is cancer free. At the time he was diagnosed, he was 11, my oldest daughter was 13, my youngest son was 9 and youngest daughter 6. It was tough time, but Alhamdulillah Allah tested me and I learned from it. Today, I'm stronger than I've ever been and my faith also got stronger. So say Alhamdulillah and enjoy this time you have with them. I hope you learn something from my short story.

I completely understand with your baby only wanting you! My daughter is 10 months and I have literally never spent more 30 minutes away from her! I have no family to help me and my husband works a lot! I also work from home as well 40 hours a week in customer service! It’s hard and I feel I get so sad sometimes+ tired! But we got this and we will get through day by day💗

Aww Leena, totally relate to you with the sister situation. We are 3 sisters and my eldest is back home close to our parents and me and my other sister are abroad. When we are together all feels as it should we connect to each other like nobody else can to us. Watching you made me realise how my elder sis must feel without us close to her. The beauty of distance reveals to us what matters most, and helps us appreciate one another 100X more. Pray it gets easier for you x

Girl, as another working mom - it IS so hard - that’s why it feels that way! Our parents didn’t have the same support we do now, but tbh I think it shows in their mental/physical health. IA we can do better for the future generation 💕

I love scrolling through the comment section and seeing all the mommas talk about how normal it is to feel overwhelmed and stressed. It really helps to know we’re not alone. I have 2 (2 and 4 months) and I love to go out and about as I’m quite an extrovert but it’s SO hard. Packing up 2 babies and a diaper bag and getting myself ready just feels like more of a chore than it’s worth sometimes . Inshallah it will get easier as time goes on 🩷

You just somehow manage what’s going on in your life. You learn to time manage better sometimes not necessarily all the time. My best advice to you is enjoy this chapter in your lives as they’re still very young. Believe me it flies by far too quickly. All the best to you and your family. ❤

We are too sensitive in this century and there are lots of triggers simply like notifications. “Lots of things to do”. Our brain works so hard. This is the biggest reason why we so overwhelmed. Don’t think that you have to do so much stuff. Just for 6-7 month. This will help alone ❤

Oh I feel you! I recently had a child and she will only nap while I’m holding her and it’s so hard because I want to clean around the house but I’m just stuck. But the newborn smell and snuggles make it all worth it and I know it’ll get better soon :-).

It is a very uncomfortable and helpless feeling to be so loved and needed and at the same time not being able to do anything for yourself anymore. It is not natural and luckily it doesn’t last. I’m so glad you spoke up about it rather than holding it in. I’ve felt especially stuck when my babies did not settle to sleep easily or needed me to stay asleep. I’ve always felt so much better after working on sleep with my kids. Once they started to fall asleep independently my life felt so much lighter. It’s not always something they learn on their own and setting a good sleep foundation early pays off in every which way in the future. Please do yourself and your baby the favor and look into it. Taking Cara babies has been a wonderful resource and worth every penny. Take care of yourself!

Motherhood is just hard . We have to remember that we are all just learning how to navigate each day. Nothing can ever prepare us for this lol. I only have a toddler and I’m struggling. I just accepted that I can’t have everything perfectly. It’s impossible to have a spotless house, a perfect workout schedule, especially as a full time working mom. You literally have to pick and choose majority of the time. I am terrified of having another because I don’t know if I can handle it, so I give you a lot of credit. I always tell my mom I don’t know how she had 5, while I’m here casually struggling with 1. 😅 I think it does help to talk to someone, I talk to a therapist as well, mainly I am not trying to lose my sanity and pass on my anxiety to my toddler. It’s a lot, we are all trying to do the best that we can each day.

I absolutely loved this video! Thanks for being so candid. It supports moms because having baby number 2 can be exponentially more challenging as every kid has a unique personality and nature and depending on the age difference the older kid has needs that are changing and need to be met too. Remember always to be grateful Leena❤️ I have 4 small kids with no help from my mother because she lives in another country and my mother in law is not able because of old age. Alhamdulillah even though it is very hard for me but we are very lucky that we still can hug and kiss our kids while the mothers in Palestine can’t. 😢

Hi Leena, you need to explain to your sisters. Even if they can't personally relate, they'll understand once you explain it to them. I unfortunately wasn't blessed with children but alhamdullilah my siblings have beautiful babies. When my nephew went through the terrible twos, my sister really struggled and initially I didn't understand. I kept telling her just be grateful you have this beautiful child. We had to sit down and have a long conversation about exactly what she's experiencing and then I went and did my own research and now I get it! I feel like I'm able to support her so much better now. Being open always pays off ❤May Allah bless you and your family

You might need to take a pre/probiotics. I had many issues after after having 4 babies but had focused on my health and self care a lot more now. ❤

Courage we have all be there. You need to consider getting some help. Figure the areas where you need help and hire a nanny and an assistant for few hours.

Leena you're wonderful, strong, and beautiful mamma. MahsaAllah! I know it's hard to raise morethan one child. I always say to myself how did my Mam able to raise all my sibilings and pass through all these stuffs without complaining. Because now i my self going through motherhood, mother of 3 all under 10. Am 33 years old. Am also doing my phd from prestigious uni. Am blessed, am thankfull. But sometimes i feel overwhelmed, and start crying for nothing. Because i live in a place far from my familly. Alhamdulilah my husband is with me still u feel anxious. Am blessed i don't want to complian all r healthy but out of no where i may feel like I am under so much pressure. Any way the moral of the story is we all feel the same, going through the same. But Allhamdulilah Allah will reward us for evey bit of our hardships. In addition, if our health is in agood situation, that's enough for us we should be grateful for this alone even. It is okay to work for our familly as long as we r healthy. But we should also give ourselves time to protect both our mental and physical welbeing. Alhamdulilah we living atleast in aplace where no war is happening. We love u my dear leena. Hi dear Leena, the only thing I found to have less anxiety is to stop to put pressure on myself and stop compare to other people because we are all different and I do my best to be the best version of myself. And at the end of the day we are all human and we all do mistakes ☺️. Step by step I am in peace with myself and Inshallah it will help you 🙏☺️
