I enjoyed this video more than some of your recents. I love seeing Alfie and zoe at home. Living a normal life. I don't know why you think you've got to be doing exciting things, in order to film. Trust me, most people just want to be a part of your normal lives. Normal is what makes an audience connect with the creator. If you constantly post insane trips and insane things, then we feel detached or envious. Posting about work, cooking dinner, playing with your dog, spending time with family...that's the good stuff.

I’m so lucky and fortunate enough to be in a safe, unaffected area but obviously seeing my country, my home being so damaged and hurt breaks my heart. I just wanna say thank you. Everything helps, whether you donate, volunteers or just share something to raise awareness, you are helping. Forever grateful.

You guys should consider taking a knife skills class, if you want to cook more, to help build your confidence in food prep

Here’s my cooking tip (since my dad and husband are both chefs and I’ve been having my knife skills critiqued since I was in middle school 🙃): use a bigger knife (a chef’s knife) and hold the back of the blade just above the handle, not the handle. Your pinky, ring finger, and middle finger will be around the handle and your thumb and pointer finger should be pinching the top of the blade. You’ll have much more control and you’ll be less likely to cut yourself or have the blade slip. You can google “chef knife blade grip” if you need a visual

Hey Alfie, it would be cool if you and Zoe did did chill videos of you two cooking meals from scratch

Cooking tips: Put onions in freezer for about 20 minutes before cutting to prevent crying. And to get garlic odor off fingers rub fingers against the flat side of a stainless steel knife blade under cold running water after your done chopping the garlic. It's easier if the knife blade is large.

I don’t cry. I crylaugh. I don’t cry at funerals, if I can keep myself from it. Sometimes I can’t hold the tears back. I cry when I’m alone. My dad I the same. He’s getting better at showing sadness and crying, I’m struggling but working on it. He’s cried from love and sadness with me. But I’m not there yet. Last time I cried in front of people was when my grandfather died. Even then I tried to hold it back. It’s my goal for 2020 to be more open to sharing my emotions, the sad once.

Fun fact: Zoe is more sensitive to the onions than Alfie because she has light colored eyes and Alfie has brown eyes. Light colored eyes are more sensitive to sun light chemical smells.

To get rid of the smell of garlic off your fingers you need to carefully rub them on the back of a metal knife 🔪 Sounds weird but it works 😂💕

Baking soda and a bit of hot water made into a paste can help clean white shoes! Spread it on there and and gently rub in circular motions. Leave it for 3 or so hours and then brush off the dust. It’s helped my poor converse tons! I’ve heard of some people putting vinegar in it too, but I’ve never done that.

Tip: When Zoe said her hands still smelt of garlic it may of been because after she chopped the garlic she washed her hands with hot water which cooks the garlic on your fingers have a few hand washes with cold water which should get rid of the smell X

If I cut an onion while wearing my contact lenses it won’t bother me but if I have my glasses on my eyes water like crazy!

Rubbing a metal spoon over your hands under cold water will get rid of the garlic smell :)

Add a little bit of salt to your hand soap when you wash your hands and it will remove the garlic smell
