Driving from city to city on tour sounds glamorous, but musicians like Michelle Branch still get homesick from time to time. The remedy? Comfort food. Michelle and her boyfriend Patrick Carney, drummer for the Black Keys, show us how to make her grandmother's lamb satay with peanut sauce recipe while on the road.

I ussualy use sweet soy sauce & pepper for lamb satay, peanut sauce for chicken satay....but hey everybody have their own way to eat satay😄😄...salam dari indonesia michelle 😁😁

i spent 19 years travelling around New Zealand on the carnival run .eating out was not an option as it would become unhealthy and expensive really quick . i taught myself how to cook .nice to see you doing what we had to teach ourselves oh and btw your boyfriend is lazy not cooking

You must be comparing young Michelle's first album to older guys who had been around longer. Hes a drummer but nothing too special himself he seems autistic hes lucky he made it as far as he did my guess is family connections or inheritence.

KZfaq says this video was posted 7 months ago, but Michelle refers to Patrick as her "boyfriend", implying the filming is premarriage, sometime in 2017-18 perhaps. The tour they're on seems to indicate this is to support Hopeless Romantic. The two seem to have a comfortable rapport here. It's sad what happened but it's not like it wasn't foreseeable. Patrick has a history of messy breakups. Don't marry rock stars, people. It's a hopeless cause to be married to someone whose profession is to exist in extended adolescence for perpetuity. Screw them, love them, turn them loose when it's all done and walk away. It's cleaner.
