Always on the list to do I finally got to cooking ribs over an open fire. I was out camping and took advantage of a beautiful day in September and grilled some pork ribs. The results were amazing.

Exactly right. I think it is the fresh air and the adult beverages. Thanks. Stevo

I am glad I helped your day get off to a good start. I don't think there is anything wrong with ribs for breakfast. Thanks. Stevo

you would put this video on just as I am getting ready for breakfast, I'll probably have to settle for eggs... lol

I disagree with EB from Florida. There is something better than Stevo cooking over a fire in Canada and that is for Stevo cooking for ME. Dang that looked like some good and tasty food. Thanks for the videos.

They did turn out good. I have cooked over an open fire forever and things just turn out better. I just wish the price of ribs wasn't so high, I would cook them more. Thanks Dave. Stevo

Couple questions for ya. Thanks very much for the video! : ) How long do you now think is best? If you don't have a dome to smoke them do you think they'll still turn out okay?

Time kind of depends on the type of rib. Side ribs may take longer than back ribs. I would not hesitate to cook without a cover. Go slow to keep them tender. When you get the color you want on the ribs, wrap them until they are as tender as you want. There are no bad ribs. Thanks. Stevo

Hi, where can I buy the lid?

I buy the cheap little BBQ's at Wal Mart. I just use the lids and recycle the rest. Thanks for tuning in. Stevo

Sometimes that is the only answer. They turned out great but if you go too fast they end up tough and you need more beer to wash them down. Will do it again for sure. Thanks. Stevo
