Samoan culture too. Your first birthday is the most important it rivals a wedding celebration. Family are invited from all over it's quite an occasion. Recently when I think back it saddens me because it's the most important day for a kid in the Samoan culture but as a one year old child will have no memories of it nor will you remember your first birthday
