We had the pleasure of witnessing how traditional Kachin food dishes were prepared and packed for hundreds of attendees of a wedding. These lady cooks have many years of experience and cook in the traditional ways, using their senses and knowledge. There are no weighing scales or measuring tools used, everything is by touch and taste. 😮
The Kachin-style pork and chicken curries, as well as the leaf-wrapped steamed fish were outstanding. However, it was the chilli paste that really impressed us as it was fiery and flavourful. 🤤🤤

မင်္ဂလာပွဲတစ်ခုအတွက် အစားအသောက်တွေ ပြင်ဆင်ချက်ပြုတ်ရတာ နာရီပေါင်းများစွာကြာသလို တစ်ခါတလေ ရက်နဲ့ချီပြီးတော့လည်း ကြာတတ်တယ်လေ။ ❣
ဒီတစ်ခါမှာတော့ ကချင်ရိုးရာ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်တစ်ခုမှာ ပွဲလာမယ့်ဧည့်သည်ရာပေါင်းများစွာအတွက် ချက်ပြုတ်ပြင်ဆင်နေကြပုံကို ရိုက်ကူးဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဗီဒီယိုလေးထဲမှာ ပါဝင်တဲ့ အန်တီတစ်ယောက်ဆိုရင် ကချင်ဟင်းလျာတွေကို ဓလေ့ရိုးရာ နည်းလမ်းတွေအတိုင်း နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာချက်လာခဲ့တဲ့သူတစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်ပြီး ဟင်းချက်တဲ့နေရာမှာလည်း အတိုင်းအတာနည်းလမ်းတွေကိုအသုံးမပြုပဲ အတွေ့အကြုံပေါ် အခြေခံပြီး ချက်သွားတာကိုတွေ့ရမှာပါ။ 😮
ဟင်းပွဲတွေအများကြီးထဲကမှ ဝက်ကချင်ချက်နဲ့ ငါးကချင်ချက်ကတော့ အက်မင်ရဲ့အကြိုက်ဆုံးတွေလို့ပြောလို့ရတယ်။ ပြီးတော့ ကချင်ငရုတ်သီးအနှစ်ကလည်း အရသာပြင်းပြင်းလေးဆိုတော့ ထမင်းနဲ့အရမ်းလိုက်ပြီး စားလို့ကောင်းမှကောင်း။ 🤤🤤
ပွဲအခမ်းအနားတစ်ခု အဆင်ပြေပြေပြီးမြောက်ဖို့ အခုလိုနောက်ကွယ်ကနေ ချက်ပြုတ်ပေးနေတဲ့သူတွေကိုလည်း အသိအမှတ်ပြုအားပေးပြီး ယဥ်ကျေးမှုနဲ့ ဓလေ့ထုံးစံတွေကို ထိန်းသိမ်းလိုက်ကြရအောင်နော်။ ❤
