Finally, another realistic, clean, wholesome, drama and sexual sin free movie about Black people displaying their love. This movie was so refreshing. Make many more beyond just season based. Thank you!!!

GREAT MOVIE - no violence, no fowl language, no weird tension while watching with young children... simply perfect for the entire family. I will watch again on Christmas day! ❤

I have seen lots of Christmas movies, but this tops them all. It wasn't sugary. It was real. People were transformed and they all learned valuable lessons and came together. Beautiful.

I was able to be the Catering Chef on this film as well as a background role in the farmers market scene. I love working with this film crew an cast so much. One of the directors Errol Sadler is a wonderful man. This movie turned out great

I watch my son & this was the first time seeing this movie. We always watched the classic Christmas movies; "Christmas In Connecticut" with Barbra Stanywyck, Dennis Morgan, Sidney Greenstreet, etc., "It's A Wonderful life" Jimmy Stewart, Donna Read, etc., "Meet John Doe" Garry Cooper & Barbara Stanwyck, James Gleason, "The Bishop's Wife" Carry Grant, Lorretta Young, Devin Nevins, James Gleason Again, "Miracle On 34th Street", "It Happened On 5th Ave", "Come Fill The Cup" With James Gagney, Gig Young, Raymond Massey, Etc. Now This Great Movie "Cooking Up Christmas" is on our list for Christmas Movies & We are about to watch "Christmas For Marry". This was truly a wonderful ,feel good Christmas movie! It had me angry at the sons mother and his ex girlfriend as well as the oldest daughter then it had me laughing with joy and crying over the love in the end that rose to the top just like that lopsided cake the ex made lol.

Loved this movie. Yes, to an extent, it was the regular formulaic romance but this was so much fresher with more complex characters. I do love that the characters were all striving, talented, loving and caring people that want to live decent lives. We need more role models like this instead of portraying people in the worst light and actually glamorizing such characters. I could even relate to the mother because I was a single working mother who raised my child on my own. Luckily for my child, I'm not as meddling but she came around and wanted the best for her family.

Yes, it was a great movie! I've watched it multiple times. I have different scenarios for sequels that OWN could produce in mind. It was such a great ending. I would love to see that restaurant opening and the dynamics of the budding relationships familial and romantic.

This is quite possibly the BEST Christmas movie of the decade. Seriously!!! I laughed SO hard many times throughout the movie, I had to rewind to watch those funny parts over and over, and I cried several times throughout the movie too. It hit home on serious issues and made me cry from being happy. The acting was EXCELLENT!!! I would easily spend money to buy this after seeing it for free on KZfaq. THANK YOU 😁🥰🎄

OMG!!!! This was the best Christmas movie I have seen in years!!! Makes me want to start my own little Black successful family and have these moments every holiday!!! Is someone chopping onions??? Lol I'm not crying you are lol!!!

I'm a producer. And to say the truth, this is a HIT!!! It's a shot on target. I've been watching with tears. Thinking of how we as parents have treated our families, especially our kids. It's a VERY GOOD MOVIE. CONGRATS AGAIN. Karubanda Tanzania-East Africa.

Also I liked the way Clorox dressed not tight, short, low cut clothes. She was a great and caring character and she won out over the show-off actress. Good lessons and good acting!

This is a GREAT movie! Not another corny play on Christmas with the same storyline. I love how genuine and heartfelt this movie is and I'm only halfway in. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When I tell you I love me some Lamman Rucker. The first time I noticed him was when he had a recurring role on Half n Half. I loved his acting and the fact that he was fine AF was just the icing on the cake!

This was a great movie…as an AA or BA. This was a nice representation of my culture that showed how some families actually live…I appreciate the perspective and narrative. It was a delightful movie, I really enjoyed it. I hope OWN produce more movies like this.

Predictable it was. I do miss seeing black characters in films in Europe, so I still watch and I guess we all can use someting a little sweet and sugaru at times

This was so good. The only thing is I wish is that the daughter didnt tell her sister that she hated her. I hate when they have kids say that word. Other than that loved it. The mother (delores) is beautiful. So pretty.

The acting in this cute Christmas move was great. I loved to see two strong black fathers interact with their children. It will be one of my favorites. Thanks for not being too corny like a lot of Christmas movies are!

The example of going to any lengths, to respect the mother's feelings yet be there no matter what... That's inspiring! & Letting kids be themselves & respecting their talents. That whistle, though, lol. He needs to see the captain in The Sound of Music about that whistle! 😂 But yes, we need more characters like that. Great dads don't get represented nearly enough. That was the heart of this movie, to me, & an awesome one.

I had comment to say how great the acting, writing, production, direction was of the black Christmas movie. Better than kings of Napa and so many other black movies that are poorly written, directed, produced and acted. Pls pls pls pull this entire cast and production crew together again!!! While I’ve seen the father in many films, the remaining cast members, directors, producers I don’t see as much. Bravo! Excellent job to all involved.

Buck is a whole mood😂😂I really like his character. Thank you OWN for this clean movie with a simple story. The lesson about forgiveness and family will not be easily forgotten.
