Yes it’s a very common practice in Ireland . And they’re used to make chicken tenders which are on of my fav cheeky kiddo style meal! Also fun fact we’re told not to wash our chicken haha it’s more dangerous than unwashed .

For those of you who don’t cook much, I’m sure these were cut out during editing, but after touching raw meat you have to wash your hands before touching the zip lock bag, utensils, or seasonings! Other wise you will be cross contaminating. Not saying Erin didn’t do this (I’m sure she did!!) but for those who don’t cook often don’t forget this step!

I love that your sharing this! I'm with you, prepping the chicken! My husband thinks I'm a bit wasteful because I trim all fat, veins, bruising and tendons. It's nice knowing I'm not the only one.

Thank you, Erin! I can't wait to try these! I'm a mom of ten, but I have never perfected chicken on the stove top, and I always let my husband do the grilling. I'm going to have to try the stove top method for sure! My husband has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and he's trying to eat very healthy. That leaves me with little time, and I think getting back to simple meals like these will really help save me time. Thank you and God bless!

I’m 2 minutes in and I’ve already learned something! 😂 I had no idea that part was the chicken tender, that makes so much sense! Edit: This was truly such a helpful video, thank you so much! I didn’t realise that if the chicken is sticking it’s not quite done! I’m going to try that skillet chicken tonight for dinner.

They all look delicious! I can highly recommend a marinade of equal parts soy sauce and regular italian dressing. Amazing on chicken, and really amazing on pork loin/chops! 😊

Please do more cooking videos. I love that you say you could not cook when you first got married, but you're so good at it now and it's obvious you enjoy it. Cooking is the domestic chore that causes me the most stress, but I'm praying to get better at it because it holds me back in areas of hospitality. Erin, love your video . If you don’t mind, I would like to offer a suggestion. Rather than using Morton’s salt (which is sodium chloride……bleached salt) try Real Sea Salt. It has not been bleached, has 84 minerals and will not raise your blood pressure…..even taste better. Most grocery stores carry it or it can be ordered online……lots of KZfaq videos on this…..you will love it! Blessings from middle Tennessee!❤️

My husband never liked chicken breasts but he found a really good recipe and it did not dry out the meat. It tastes really good. You should do more cooking videos you are really good at it! Thanks for sharing this!

Yum!! I think starting with the basics and having a good foundation is key to being a great cook! I love having cooked chicken in the freezer, like the one you done in the skillet, makes lunches super easy!
