Cool Breeze RV Park truly lives up to its name-it's the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We first met the owner, Mr. Sells, at his other campground, Salem Breeze in NC. After a great experience there, we decided to visit his Cool Breeze RV Park in Galax, Virginia. If you're looking for straightforward, no-frills camping, this is the place to be.
Never heard of Galax, Virginia? It's a charming town in Southwest Virginia with a population of fewer than 7,000. Known as the "World Capital of Old-Time Mountain Music," it attracts top-notch fiddlers, banjo players, cloggers, and bluegrass musicians. While we didn't get a chance to dive into the music scene, we still found Galax to be an interesting and unique destination.
