I just had to show you this 1951 Jeep Station Wagon. I have not seen one before, but they are out there. This Willy's Jeep is a two-wheel drive and not too bad of shape, ready for a restoration.

I like doing this little series. It always bothered me the that these nice vehicles would pop up and I did not show them off. This old Jeep caught my eye and if I had the room I would buy it. Thanks Bruce. Stevo

Very cool vehicle. Can’t believe there are no Fluffy Motels. I’d keep it stock like Kevin likes to do. I think it gives people an accurate glimpse of vehicles from the past. Also, it shows how cars have progressed through the decades. Thanks Steve.

Stock would be the easiest way to go and I think it would be worth more as well. You are right about seeing how thing have changed but in the day when you bought that vehicle new, it was the greatest. Thanks. Stevo

In many car circles, this Willy's (originally pronounced 'Willis') is considered the very first SUV. A resto-mod (restored-modified) version makes for a very nice vehicle. You've got a great wagon there - albeit in the rough.

Hi Stevo. I really like these old wagons. I would get that old go devil engine going , clean it up some and drive it. If I were to repower it I would put a eco boost 4 cylinder in it with a modern Trans and rear end. Good stuff, keep em coming

I have to agree with your thinking. Stock first or if that is not possible than a sweet little 4 cylinder with some modern drive train would give you some great mileage and make it a daily driver. If a guy just had time and money. Thanks Dave. Stevo

What I would do with it depends on how good or bad the frame is rusted. If it is bad then I may modernize it. If the frame is good then I would do my best to keep it stock. This was one of my favorite wagons when I was in elementary school. Still love them. Not good for long trips but great for tooling around town. It seems to have great bones. Thanks for the videos.

Glad someone remembers them from the past. That is one thing I did not look at was the frame but keeping it stock would be the easiest way to go. It would be great advertising if one used it for his business. Thanks. Stevo

It would be a good car to go camping in And you can still haul stuff from the home supply store like lumber etc.

I am not sure what they are worth but it does depend on the condition of course. This one needs a total rebuild and is worth about 1500 Cnd. Sometimes one is surprised at how much they are worth. Thanks. Stevo
