excellent video, thanks I really appreciate it. just a note about the product: it would be great if AD would allow saving presets of gradient maps instead of restarting always with rgb.

Hi ChinaMiner, thanks for the comment! Affinity Photo actually does have this option, but for some reason Affinity Designer does not. In Affinity Photo, on the Gradient Map adjustment (or any adjustment), you can click "Add Preset". The pre-set can later be loaded again by opening the Adjustments tab through Window -> Adjustment and then scrolling down and expanding Gradient Map. I have no idea why they don't put this in Affinity Designer, too.

Great video. Never knew there were gradient maps!!! Would love to see you do a video and how to create a design and then export it so that I could offer the digital file to customers. Not sure how to do the export so that anyone can open the digital file and use it. Thanks again for all your videos, I've learned so much!!!

Hi @kathleenvonthaden1289, thanks for watching! I'll put a video on exporting on my TODO list. But in summary, the easiest thing to do is choose File -> Export. Then you can choose a format to send to your clients. Typically PNG will be the safest option. Hope this helps!

Great video. I have a couple questions. Are you familiar with the iPad version of these apps? If so, how much of your tutorials apply to them?

Hi @diglife5821, thanks for watching! I don't have a lot of experience with the iPad version of the apps. I think many of the concepts will be the same (ex: what Gradient Maps do) but the interface layout will probably be different than what I show.
