From a martial artist's standpoint, I can say that Baekhyun has really really good form. His hips give him very fluid movements and his forms are soo nice to watch...honestly..;_;

On another note though (And a separate comment).. I don't know how a smooth landing in hapkido is supposed to look like, but according to me ,an old cheerleader since seven years, that landing is something that could save your life. The bounce he has when he gets up shows how stable and in control he was over the landing and it looks so smooth... I wish I had had his abilities while training in the beginning, it would have saved me from a lot of injuries.

I thought Tao was the only one who did martial arts! Damn Baekhyun suprises me day by day.

The coaches really add to this show. I was not really feeling Judo when it was announced, but they are making this season a bit more interesting than I expected. Honestly, this is the first time the coaches are more of a draw than the players.

I only watching this video for baekhyun.

As sweet as he was, baekhyun was by no means soft or cowardly. In fact, he trained in a Korean martial art called Hapiko for nine years since he was in second grade. He has a third degree black belt which makes him qualities for the title ‘master’. As a kid even at a young age, Baekhyun competed in a whole lot of Hapkido tournaments. He won piles of medals of each colour in these tournaments. But what he really wanted to do was to become an entertainer and he went for many auditions to achieve his dreams. For some reason, he never passed any of them. And yet Baekhyun was so passionate about music that when he was in high school, he prepared to enter a music college. On the day of the performance test for entering Seoul Institute of the arts, he was warming up his throat with a music sheet in his hand. At that moment a casting manager from SME saw Baekhyun and cast him right there and then. Now when you are discovered on the street like that, surely it means you become a trainee right away right? WRONG. You still have to go through an audition and so began the audition. Baekhyun went through the whole crazy audition competing against all kinds of immensely talented people. After the audition he didn’t get a call from SME for more than six months. After painfully and patiently waiting he finally received a call and became an official trainee which he only trained for four months in the debut line up and debut seven months later. In total he only trained for 11 months which was exhausted his body and mind due to such a short and intense training and not to mention the immediate debut afterwards.

I didn’t know Baekhyun would do martial arts in his youth days. Amazing!
