for those of you that didnt know, the orbit glitch he is using rqures you to go out of the solar system's reach and return. he talked about this in one of his other 'CSAGCs"(cool sights and glitches compilation)

With Brittle Hollow brushing against Giant's Deep Riebeck could finally visit another planet without the unnecessary dangers of spaceflight!

if nothing else, this is an EXCELLENT example of the scale in this game. you don't really understand how massive giant's deep is till you see half of another planet that feels really big just IN the atmosphere, not even touchin the water

4:36 the interloper's hitbox(?) might be getting somehow caught in tornadoes because it's so big.

Brittle Hollow inside Giants deep has to be the coolest thing you've shown yet!

The first time I ever used the projection pools to peer into the Probe Tracking Module, there was a violent impact and instant death. I thought I'd done something wrong. My best guess now is that one of the islands actually flew into the probe cannon.

Some of these things, like Brittle Hollow and Giant's Deep sharing atmospheres, would be really cool to see as an actual "planet". That's the wild sort of stuff you'd expect out of Outer Wilds!

I accidentally caused a floating point glitch while getting the 'It Was Worth A Shot' achievement. I checked back at the map to see how much longer I had vibing about 15000 km away from the solar system or so; and suddenly... all hell broke loose with the orbits. All the text was wonky; Brittle Hollow was the closest planet to the sun, Dark Bramble and the Hourglass Twins were in the same orbit; Timber Hearth was vibing where Brittle Hollow should've been, the Interloper was just *gone* (though this could've been gone in the normal way); and Giant's Deep was far out. It then proceeded to get worse. I realised the Hourglass Twin's orbit with *each other* was going off the rails, they fused into one and Ember Twin was now siphoning sand from the depths of space. Brittle Hollow's pieces stopped falling into the black hole, and decided to detach and become new moons instead. The Attlerock merged with Timber Hearth; Giant's Deep and the Hourglass Twins got set on a collision course and became one before Ash Twin decided it was now Giant's Deep's moon and ditched Ember Twin (scandalous). In the end; every planet started slowly cycling in towards the sun - except Timber Hearth, which escaped the supernova!!! I consider this my true ending accordingly because I saved all the Hearthians from the supernova (and doomed them all to freezing to death, but eh, you win some you lose some). It was wild.

Oh wow, I wonder if it's possible for the interloper to come into contact with Dark Bramble so perfectly that it falls inside?! Bet the fishies would get a shock!

duuuude this is so cool!! seeing the Interloper as an iceberg and Brittle Hollow just passing through... surreal af. Really makes you appreciate both the scale of these planets and how the physics of it all works, not to mention keeping all these moving pieces in memory to the point that they can occupy the same space... wild! The last time I was on Giant’s Deep, an island landed on top of the island I had landed on, destroying my ship and merging the zero-gravity bridge with Gabbro’s hammock spot. I was trying to show my girlfriend how to play lol

I wonder what happens if a piece of brittle hollow breaks off while that piece is close to Giants Deep. Will the piece get sucked into the black hole as usual, or will the piece fall toward Giants Deep into the water?

I hope that your channel gets more attention when the dlc gets released, also you should try speedrunning outer wilds 😀

Love the Interloper on Giant's Deep, I sincerely clicked on your Reddit post expecting a real Outer Wilds iceberg post and cracked up upon seeing this.

I also kind of had an instance where a giant deep Biddle hollow and Biddle’s lantern we’re like in the same orbit you can see all three planets almost colliding with each other.

One time I tp’d to the twins when they were touching each other and turned on invulnerability, then had fun with the weird gravity as I walked from one planet to the next.

I went to a distance of 4000+km from the Sun and saw the Interloper crash into Giant's Deep on the map view (like what happens in 2:54) and started to mysteriously rise. The Sun went supernova and the comet survived... until the supernova hit it, of course. Still, it was really cool!

The interloper crashing into timber hearth managed to happen to me naturally when I was investigating the dark bramble seed there and it completely caught me off guard.

I think I got this glitch once, where I chilled out with my other me inside the ATP, and slowly but surely the rotating ring started to phase through ash twins hull, I attached a scout and saw that it even went outside of ash twin half way before the sun exploded

We have to find out if the interloper get teleported to the white hole if it goes into brittle hollow's black hole. Pretty sure it's not but it would be dope.

you should get all the planets to hit brittle hollow, or the interloper. and see if they break thru the crust

I remember one time I was on my second ever flight to the quantum moon (giants deep version). I carefully landed and everything and then the bramble Island just said "Nope." THEN proceeded to pull me out of the quantum moon, the branches getting stuck in the ship and it pulled me back down onto giants deep. This game is wild.

It would be interesting to try using the gravity cannon while it's in Giant's Deep's atmosphere.

That's cool, but what is the bug you're talking about ? I mean how do you trigger it ? because I only see the consequences in the video, not what is the bug that allow those. Is it in an other video ?

At 4:37 I'm assuming that once the interloper stops on GD the interaction physics are frozen and then it's not the interloper flying up but GD continuing its orbit down and away from it.

Are you sure it’s not giant’s deep moving away from the interloper, like the interloper is locked in space but giants deep keeps going on it’s orbit?

I wonder what would happen if a moon shot from Brittle Hollow got into Giant's Deep? Would it somehow go below the surface? Would it sit in the water? Would it pull an Interloper and just peace out? Who knows

But if the orbits weren't hard-coded, why does the OPC behave in the way it does when it's within the atmosphere? If gravity was truly being simulated on these objects accurately, Giants Deep would not allow it to just fly away like that. This strongly suggests some developer-interference of its movements, which likely explains why the Interloper just starts floating away too. Also could you go into how you actually made this glitch happen? What actions/events do you need to take to break the preconfigured orbits?
