I have the exact same eye shape as her, and seeing someone accentuate her features instead of changing them made me feel so good about myself. Every time I'd go to a professional makeup artist they would either make me look like a child with blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick or simply just try to make me look as white as possible, and seeing you do a flattering look for this eye shape is just a breath of fresh air 💜

Same girl, same. I'm mixed Caucasian and Mongolian with asian-shaped eyes but Caucasian features. Every makeup artist just tried to do all the same rut they've been doing on everybody else with a lot of moving lid space. I end up looking like a clown.

Hi Sara, I’m not trying to self-promo and by no means, shape or form am I close to the greatness of Hung. However I have experience of working in the beauty industry and do various beauty videos. I sometimes film specific videos for Asian girls, like my detailed one on Asian eyes. Have a watch in your own time, but no pressure to subscribe at all! I just wanted to say, videos that you mentioned do exist, but it’s hard to find in the black hole/ world of KZfaq 😅 xx

It is really a breath of fresh air to see a real makeup artist doing makeup and not an influencer. You can literally follow every step because Hung explained it well. I also have hooded eyes and I'm having a hard time applying eyeshadow. This felt easier to do. Thank you for this! 😭♥️

I love that you work to accentuate and emphasize her Asian features instead of trying to make them look white! I usually hate how ppl do my makeup for weddings and just tell ppl to save money and I'll do my own makeup. Lol wish you were in Toronto and one day when I get married I wish I'll have enough money to ask if you can squeeze me in and help emphasize my features I love or take an in person make up class from you when covid is over!! 🥰 Thanks for doing a service to the Asian community! @@KC-ml1ktI have a hard time in Asia with the muas I have come across. My features are not liked there. They powder my skin to be a million shades lighter, then put lots of tape on my eyelid since they have issues with my monolid, also they try to soften my jawline significantly. They try to make my nose look pointy. A lot of the beauty standards in Asia are to look more western. I feel so ugly there even though I love my natural features.

Cushion foundations would be popular in North America if it came in more shades to fit the variety of skin tones in other countries. Sadly many beauty companies don't care about both ends of the skin tone spectrum. People with very pale skin tones have the same problem with dark skin tones, which is availability.

I'm 50 and I would love to see what you would do on us older Asian ladies :) I haven't seen a professional makeup artist who had a client that was mature Asian skin....so far black, middle eastern, and Caucasian.
