AC Infinity Dual 120mm USB Fans. These can be used in a ton of ways for cooling solutions. I decided to add them to my desktop computer. In this video we test them out!
Get them here: amzn.to/47FOAZs
These fans have lowered my computer temps by many degrees C. These can be used with routers, modems, electronic cabinets, PlayStation, and more!

Awesomely done. Even a few degrees lower does help.

Thanks Zak. Yeah, I'm happy with it. My desktop is stuck in the corner so this helps keep air moving in and out the case.

I 've had 2 of these fans for several years now. I use them for for moving air in my grow room, I have them permantly mounted to a parabolic hood pulling the air through the vent holes. They are about 6''' away from a 600w HID lamp, and remain on for months at a time. They have worked flawlessly just plugged into a simple usb phone charger plug. When I bought them there was mention of a higher powered dedicated psu for them, which was supposed to increase the output, but I could not find it on sale here in the UK. I also have a single one that directs the air flow at 90 deg, i.e. one side of the fan is enclosed and the air is directed through a side vent. I've been well pleased with them, and often thought of getting more for use in computers.

I have similar fans for my gaming PC I hid in a cabinet. I had cut holes out for it to breath but the grates I put over the openings to keep the cats out was just enough that the PC fans couldn't move enough air. The PC was having to shut down from overheating without doing anything. I got 2 pairs of these, one for intake air and one for exhaust air and it dropped the tempurature by 20 degrees C.

I used these fans to make a homemade poultry egg incubator. Well, they were two of the parts.

how they held up so far? any noise or issue you encounter ? looking to get some for my router and modem? and i'm looking to have them underneath but not sure which side i should be placing it on? logo face down or logo facing up? thanks again for the review

Working great. I meant to only turn them on when gaming or video editing, but, I often leave them on all the time. Usually always on low, and sometimes on medium. Very minimal noise on low, can't really hear them. On medium they kind of just sound the same as my case fans. On high I can slightly hear them. They blow towards the label.

Put the fan on the router face up.Logo face up and ensure good airflow from the bottom as well. Like on a solid surface as dust-free as possible. So you will draw cooler air through the components from the bottom. Medium speed seems to work unless you're really rocking hot router.

thinking of getting fans like those. My use would be for a projector I'm using and I would have the fans over the vent to improve the cooling. Stupid question but if I did that where do I place the fans? The projector has 2 vents one for inlet and the other for outlet and the outlet has the heat come out. Also which direction to point the fans as I'm not tech savy when it comes to this.

Have one fan push into the inlet, and one fan suck / pull out of the outlet.

Could it be that the ziptie and one piece thingy is just for routing the cords where you want them to be and ziptie them in place, like along your wall or something..?
@earthling1984

That sounds smart! The little square sticky thing does have spaces for the zip tie to fit through. So I guess yeah, you could use them to stick the square somewhere behind an entertainment cabinet or something, and have the cords zip tied to it.

I did try to see if the piece that controls the fans happened to magnetically attach to the little sticky square. It did not. But, I guess you could also use it for that. Although the sliding selector may be hindered with a zip tie around it.

Or for the piece that controls the fans!

yeah i would guess so too. If they did provide it for routing the cords it seems one is just not enough though :D@@earthling1984

Is there a way to have it turn off and in with a gaming console instead of having to manually turn them on?
@earthling1984
@earthling1984 8 ай бұрын
Only way I can think of is if you had a USB port to power them that turned off when the device was off, and on when the device was on.
@earthling1984

So yes, I could do this on my computer. I have USB ports that power when the desktop is off, and also USB ports that turn off when the computer is off. So, instead of plugging into the wall, I could plug into a USB port that goes off when the PC is off.

@earthling1984 I only owm 2 gaming consoles, unfortunately, so I have no idea how a USB port would work with consoles lol. I'm not knowledgeable on these things.

@@tacoma81 Maybe use a smart plug. So you can talk and say "Smart Plug" turn off Console. Or, click a button on your phone.
