Coolant Leak Wack-a-Mole! - VanLife10

Жыл бұрынFix one leak, another finds a way… in this episode I replace all of the remaining engine bay hoses in my 1988 VW Vanagon. Everything going to and from the coolant reservoir and expansion tanks along with that custom sized hose coming from the block. Thanks GoWesty!

Double-check your spark plug wire connections, as one may have popped up off a spark plug or at the distributor cap side causing the misfire. Also check the ground strap that attaches to the left side of the engine and the firewall just under the ignition coil. That high pitched chirp sound is your alternator, probably because the battery has a weak charge. I'd suggest charging the battery and seeing if the sound disappears.

Nice! Thank you. Having it suddenly start misfiring was so discouraging. If I had to guess it would be grounding too. There’s a few wires that are in the engine bay that have always been just hanging out (since I got it). I’ll check these out!

Mike that miss sounds like mine with a vacuum leak. Double check you didnt pull off a hose.
