One of the best car designs ever. Clear, timeless lines without embarrassing aggression. Placement of the rear lights a bit too narrow. Unintentionally heavily inspired by the Skoda Yeti!

You can get it optioned with 20" off road tires. I do agree 18"s with more aggressive off road is the way to go.

I saw one of the new defenders on the street while my wife and I were visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Asheville, NC, recently. Those taillight graphics are amazing in person.

I love it. A callback to retro SUVs where the selling point was a hardy off-road capable vehicle, very utilitarian too. Just sucks how expensive it is, while less impressive modern SUVs can cost less than half the Defender 90!

I would have liked at least a tiny angle at the end. It feels strange compared to the rake of the front windshield.

I have a 90 with the P400/i6, it's honestly pretty quick, and sounds half decent for a modern car. The V8 must be absolutely wild!

@@faheemabbas3965 lol they will not go out of business because of reliability, it’s not meant for that. It’s considered an expensive premium vehicle. People who are buying these do not care about reliability as they are leasing/ getting rid of it after 3 years to get the next or latest premium car. And this is why Land Rover is not concerned with reliability either. Designing cars that have no issues for 10-15 years is NOT good for their business because they will sell less often. This is the model used by many luxury companies. This isn’t a Toyota or Honda as ditching reliability would be a death sentence for them as that’s what people buy them for.

The coolest is either the Braptor or the Purosangue. Besides, this won’t hold up on any level 5 (or greater) trail, and yet it is supposed to be an off-road SUV.

Version 110 has a too short backside, version 130 has a too long backside. Please make version 120! :)

Front end looks cartoon-like. It's like a caricature of a more sophisticated design, and too much plastic for a supposedly rugged vehicle.

Historically these always appeared top heavy, high centre of gravity, to me. Maybe it's an illusion; I don't know. But I know it's British and will spend its fair share of time on the hoist. No thanks. But love the enthusiasm nontheless, nice video 👍

I think the defender looks too friendly in lighter colours, not because of the lights, but because of how they're housed

I despise this car. It is utterly pointless, impractical and ugly. They will never be used by more than one person and will never see a rougher surface than a private car park. Not to mention the doubtless pitiful reliability. These are purely status symbols, like a G63 but even more awkward looking, and the only cars it genuinely competes with for sales are also Land Rovers. It’s a shame because given the right market LR could have actually designed something respectable.
