I really don't know what's better: this watch or this video. It's insane how good your presentations are... You definitely need to start making audiobooks. I can only imagine an audiobook about the history of watches. I would definitely listen to that multiple times.

Wow, wow, wow. Thank you so, so much for shining the spotlight on German Polosin. The first time I found that little shop in the Arcade in Bristol's Broadmead, Finn spent 2 hours showing me so many cool things. From an incredibly thin AP pocket watch movement, to a pocket watch that times the finishing of a horse race using complication which pushed a needle through a drop of ink in a hand with a little well in it, making dots on the dial. Also a mechanical fuse timer in the shape of a cylinder, used for mining. Plus of course the Kopf watch and all the 70's watches they've refurbished. I was blown away by what was inside that little shop....like an Aladdin's cave of Horological wonders. The Horological Underground is an awesome place to visit for anyone who's into horology. Cheers Andrew 🍺 Love the video

This is brilliant, to have the head of Marvin as a watch done this well is just remarkable. Visiting his website I noticed an interest in depicting skulls on watch dials. May I suggest that this watch is a 3D version of a skull--especially with fluting that depicts teeth (sci fi robots did not have teeth--not even robot dogs have teeth). It might be more palatable to the public if presented as a robot, but considering the care that went into the design I think its resemblance to a skull is not accidental.
