Seth Turner he created a voice for a community of people that may not have otherwise spoken out their problem, he actively reached out and helped people through their problems and created a platform for people suffering from depression to talk to eachother without being judged, literally saving lives. Sure he wasn't Gandhi but there's no arguing that he wasn't a hero to some.

Same it just makes me think god never does things by mistake and he’s in a much better place now but it just mashed u feel like even if he was saved he could’ve been doing other really good or bad at the moment and even tho he’s much happier in heaven it still is just never gonna stop hurting thinking about such a one of a kind perfect person being taken away from us he didn’t deserve being stolen from and his life falling apart from jealous fake people but he just couldn’t say no to them and that’s how he was slowly killing his life but he’s happy now but it will never stop hurting

Makenzie Jackson Yeah!!! Absolutely. Peep was one of a kind for the culture to it’s crazy how he revived a genre of music with his own twist and impacted so many people/artists in such a small amount of time I don’t think anyone in music history did what Gus did in that sense

i never heard of peep tell he died...but ive listen 2 him everyday sense...there has never been a artist ive connected with so fast and related with so much of there lyrics and interests like ive been struggling with depression and prescription drug addiction for ten years or more now ..currently clean for about 2 but its still a day to day thing ...was actually depressed past few months and i listend to his music and had a cry for the first time in a while and woke up the next day like i snapped out of the depression..so sad hes gone but his music is timeless and will help ppl for generations.

I know what you mean. I only knew a few of his songs before he died like Benz Truck, High School, Awful Things, and Brightside. I downloaded the Hellboy mixtape when it came out but never really dove deep into all his music until he died unfortunately. I didn't realize how many mixtapes, collabs, and songs he dropped in the short time he had but a lot of it is really worth checking out. I've been listening to all of his stuff now and really loving it but it's also sad that it took his death for me to really get into it. I really hope we get to hear all the other collab projects with Clams Casino, Makonnen, Lil B, and the other people he worked with someday. I also really want to hear the studio versions for the songs from Goth Angel Sinner. I've gotten hooked on the live version of the song Belgium and it would be great to hear it on a professional studio recording. RIP Peep.

Wow. Your situation sounds almost exactly the same as mine. I've been off of prescription pain pills for 4 years now. I almost died after smoking fentanyl. I still struggle with depression, and anxiety. Like BAD. Unfortunately I'm to deep to be able to cry, and snap out of it. I am literally standing with demons. I see you left that comment 2 years ago. My friend played a song by him, and I absolutely loved it. I was so happy to discover new music, all my odd music was starting to sound repetitive. Literally a week later he passed away. It was the poorest timing. The same thing happened with X. It's so heart breaking. I'm afraid to listen to any new up and coming artists anymore....everyone's passing away.

@Xavier Kobayashi Spotify recommended him to me sometime in 2018 and i was curious because i recognized the band he sampled, so i googled him. i remember it was a very openly depressing song and he sounded fucked up and was talking about drugs. then i found out how he died and it was such an eerie feeling, like i had seen a ghost, because the foreshadowing was there plain as day for anyone to hear and it had actually happened. to this day, i don't care for his music (incidentally, except star shopping) or understand what makes him a legend. the genre fusion was different than i expected from his name (i was expecting another completely generic lil soundcloud rapper), but not mindblowing. but one thing is for certain, it was very raw and genuine and vulnerable (but those aspects are not new in any of the genres he blended). dude had a magnetic personality, though. i've been watching tons of documentaries and live shows to try to understand why he had such a massive effect on people. i guess you either get it or you don't. it's really too bad he died so young, though. i wonder what his music would have been like had he gotten a chance to grow more as an artist and as a person. the saddest thing is that no one seemed to take his addictions and mental health issues seriously when it was very obvious to me in one song!

This documentary will really help bring peace about peep. I’ve seen a lot of negativity and fighting about him either being trash and fans defending him, when it should be a time of mourning and loss and respect. I never idolized him do not get me wrong, I did not look up to him, but he was more of a friend. I felt like he was there for me and understood me when no one else does and people need to see that and who he was as a person. He may not have changed music forever in history, but he did for me. I don't really know much about this guy but the way he interacts with the public is hands down the most official shit I've ever seen. I was a messenger in NYC and have bumped into so many celebrities, you never know how they will act, they're people too. Just to bite the bullet and show them love is what's up though.
