You don’t have to take any screws out to take the motor out except the silver one at the top. Spin the motor to the right and pull it towards the rear of the truck. The screw you are talking about is on the brace that holds the weight of the motor instead of it all on the screw. Take the receiver box off and the silver mesh screw and pull the motor.

The fans worked well for a little bit, but ended up cracking after a couple of harsh landings, so if you did or do get it, I would recommend upgrading to some fans with a metal enclosure. It's also a good idea because I ended up burning out my motor without them, so I had to get it replaced. Hopefully this helps!
