Coolio, the rapper, actor, chef, and record producer is interviewed on 'The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder' back in 1996.
Coolio achieved mainstream success in the mid-to-late 1990s with his albums It Takes a Thief (1994), Gangsta's Paradise (1995), and My Soul (1997).
Tom Snyder, American television newsman (1936-20070 served as host of NBC's The Tomorrow Show (1973-82) and helped to establish the popularity of the late-night talk-show format. Snyder was best known for his ability to connect with audiences in an intimate way and for his unusual questions and no-nonsense style of interviewing an array of guests, including such celebrities as political figures, rock musicians, and notorious criminals. Snyder appeared on late-night cable TV during the early 1990s before returning to network TV to host (1995-99) The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder.

Brilliant performer! Humble gentleman, excellent communicator, meticulous in his approach, respectful when TS tried to respond/defend his answers, Coolio was humble, transparent to callers, and audience. Love his music! Ah, yes, great sense of humor. Coolio rest easy, we miss you! ♥️

AD Vids - you are absolutely right. Also, Snyder as well like Larry King, are the most successful softball interviewers of all time. I enjoy watching Tom the most but also enjoyed some of kings interviews too.

Tom started to get nervous when coolio mentioned the youth are being programmed.

That's sad that you said his mother "Took" the time to do those things for him, really. Isn't that what a freaking mother AND father is supposed to do. I'm a single mom and grew up in foster care. When my kids was old enough to speak they were old enough to learn how to read. When they were in a high chair I would teach them one new word a day. They were reading books at 3 years old. They graduated from a top university on the Dean's list because I was chasing education for my kids and not some loser AKA baby daddy.
