Definitely! At first I didn't really like it because it was too touristy with the four to five cruise ships arriving frequently but once I went to different parts of the island, I enjoyed my visit a lot more.

It's a place you need a passionate reason to visit. Then, its quirks and flaws are easily nullified.

Yoo Phree- I'm toying with the concept of a three to four day cruise. I just don't get it though, cruises seem like a more synthetic/condensed/micro/isolated all-inclusive resort experience?

@@Coolist While that may be the case a bit, people on a cruise are what truly makes it! You get every age, financial status, and demographic and they all have fun together unconditionally! Also, the specialty dining experiences would impress you as well (during dinner). Think of it as a high-end field trip for adults who let their hair down, eat too much, drink too much, and love every minute! My only advice is the shorter cruises are the "party" cruises, whereas the 6 days plus ones typically are on much newer ships with better amenities and dining options. If you decide to do go for it Virgin, Celebrity, and any newer Royal Caribbean, or Carnival Ship would not disappoint. Go for it buddy!
