In this video we reflect back on the events that took place in the book of John chapter 11 and 12.
Jesus visits Bethany where His friend Lazarus lived with his sisters Mary and Martha.
Jesus raises Lazarus in chapter 11
Jesus about a week before His crucifixion, visits Bethany with His disciples for supper.
Mary the sister to Lazarus was had been raised from the dead anoints Jesus with expensive perfume.( John 12)
Road trip from Jericho to Bethany.
Bethany - Hebrew
Al-Eizariya or Al-Azariya - Arabic ... meaning place of Lazarus.
Bethany is a town in West Bank.
Bethany is located on the Southeastern slope of Mount of Olives.
Bethany is less than two miles from Jerusalem.
