Coon Hunters unite to help boy desperate for first coonhound!

After hearing about a little boy standing in a Walmart parking lot holding a sign to raise money for his very first coonhound we immediately jumped on board. My buddy Seth Burgett, Donnie Yates, Dixie Doggers all went above and beyond! What a heartwarming story of great people coming together to make this all possible!!! Thank you so much for your kind words. There were a lot of amazing people that I’m so glad I’m friends with made this happen! What is also amazing. Is we don’t have to put on our best clothes, or we don’t have to even go into a church. We should all live each day and show others our true hearts day in and day out! He was in shock and disbelief,,,, we got several pictures, phone calls,,, and his family and himself have just kept thanking everyone! He has already been walking her and got her going really good on a leash. We are supposed to take him and Dixie out Thursday night!!! Man I’m really looking forward to it. Man we all came together to make this happen!!!! In a big way, very grateful for you and your family! Along with Joey and the family at Dixie Doggers. All the people that seen Blake at Walmart that day and shared the post! It couldn’t happen again and be any more perfect than this! Thank you brother

Best thing you can do is get at least 4 kids into our sport.

That’s awesome! I’ve always been a fan of English redticks. When I got back into coon hunting that’s what I looked for. But then got preacher( black and white walker) he has been good to me so I’ll stick with walkers

PKC National Championship is held in a near by town of Salem Illinois. Do you ever participate in that hunt ?

I haven’t been to that hunt yet. I have been to the Ukc autumn oaks and winter classic. Been to mainly just local pkc stuff. But as far as traveling, I go all over to hunt.

Do y'all know anyone selling a Female treeing Walker with a Saddleback ?? My current one is my Service Dog 🐕 she is 5 yo but has been Traumatized by 4 different ppl in the last 3 months. And so far Rehab is not working , so I thought I'd start a new Walker Hound as my Service Dog 🐕‍🦺 ( Idk why but i prefer the Saddleback look )

I don’t right off. I do know Facebook usually some of the hunting pages, people will have hounds and pups for sale. That’s where most people are looking now a days
