I've realized the missile launcher makes more sense on the Mediator, since it could be mounted on the side and the tube would be out of the way. Wouldn't be accurate but it would be more convenient.

The Mediator attachments on the Tri-Strike look really good.

I think that the tri-strike is effectively a perfect blaster for HvZ's or whatnot that require those kinds on darts, the downs side of slightly slower fire rate doesnt matter because your team *NEEDS* to protect you. If you use the tri-strike you're not going for damage, you're going for utility

personally, i would put the tri strike attachments on the mediator core, with the missile launcher to the side rail

I have both a tri strike and mediator; I really dig the mediator because I love how compact it is and I also personally like how unique and fun it is to use a horizontal mag well, but yeah the tri strike definitely has a good use due to its attachments

The only thing i dont understand is why a mediator or tristrike would be secondary blaster if your primary is something like rapidstrike or stryfe; given that they use the same ammo and magazines. Like, why carry a whole blaster rather than its mag by itself to feed your primary an additional time? Unless your primary is a rival nemesis or something which uses a different ammo type, it seems odd to me for a secondary to share the same ammo pool (magazines) with your primary.

Actually..... if you want a Pump action, slam fire, side magazine blaster..... Get a Rampage, it has way better ergonomics and better ability to steady the blaster thanks to the distance between the priming and firing handles. It is also more reliable thanks to the direct linkage with the sled, where as the Mediator has a gearbox which can strip over time

Coop should have added a pro towards the tri-strike that when you buy the tri-strike, its a 3 in 1 gun, compared to the mediator where you have to buy all the attachments

The mediator ,for me is a very good springer platform since it is pump action and slam fire enabled and the mag horizontal is a great advantage because it makes it even more compact (compared to an alpha trooper)and you can see the ammo you have left

Though I get the points you mention, just on coolness factor I say the Tristrike because it so reminds me of the Alien 2 (Aliens) movie where the marines have those cool guns that have different modes like flame thrower, machine gun and I think something else on it. Just having different options of destruction just seem awesome.

A side rail is more important than the comfort and more ergonomic feel of a pump action grip. Great logic Frank 👍

The tri-strike with a scavenger stock and chronobarral is the most practical and tatic-cool blaster for my play style, game types, and body type

This felt like something straight out of game theory (the subject, not the KZfaq channel). Mediator won both categories, despite tri-strike having that really cool combo with the mediator attachments.

We managed to buy a tri-strike for something like £23 from a smyths... it was the only one on the shelf and basically my son was attracted to it because kids below a certain age seem to care more about novelty and customisability... so yeah, I suppose my point is you didn’t mention price.

Tri-strike is fun to play anyways. Edit-mediator will rekt tri-strike in performance.

I dunno why, but I like horizontal mag ports, and I like the smallness of the mediator, I like the pump being close, and I prefer the forgrip style over the shotgun style pump.

As blasters, the tri strike is a retaliator alternative and the mediator is a compact rampage. For both blasters the attachments make sense on other blasters, mainly flywheelers.

Hey coop, you should do a vs. video with the new/new-ish/a little old rival blasters (Nemesis and Quantum and/or Prometheus, Hades and Artemis, Kronos and Apollo etc.)

You know, you could just use the mediator gangster style. Your optic would be on the side and you’re mag would be in a normal position.

I want to like the Mediator FBA but it's sooo loooong. Meanwhile, the TS-FBA, while MEGA, is very compact so I love it. I do love the Mediator Stock though. Feels like a straight upgrade from the old Strike stock (but only because they foolishly made all the other Modulus blaster block it from firing while attached).

I've actually found I like the mediator with the tri strike attachments. The missile sits on the side so it's not as awkward as on top. Get more shots with the front barrel attachment. Slamfire is more functional and replacing the mag is a little easier, which Imo was probably the biggest setback to the tri strike.
