Good breakdown, I think you are right about how well he deals with a beat up track being his ace in the hole. Taking it to a different motorsport, formula 1back in the 90's, before his death, Senna was generally fast, but so were a lot of other guys, when it rained though, when everyone else slowed down, senna really shined, because that is what he practiced for. Alternatively, putting down a time in qualifying when you aren't fighting traffic is way different to running a race, when you want to make a pass, but someone is in your preferred line, you are catching roost, ect. Same thing with the fun race my buddy puts on every summer. Had a new kid, he put down an absolutely blistering qualifying lap, blew all of us old guys out of the water. When the actual race happened he kind of fell apart, didn't even podium. We all still had a blast, made some new friends, but outright speed isn't the whole game when you aren't alone on the track.

Webbs mental game is so above everyone else. Tomac was always faster but webb was in his head thus cooper got 2 championships before tomac. Before that dungy did same to tomac.

Wrong . Tomac is the best of the best and Webb would tell you that himself in private . There is no mentally stronger test than going up against a faster rider in the last race of the MX championship and beating him outright .

I was for tomac forever always fastest but webb beat him mentally. He had 2 champion 🏆 before tomac.

Cooper is the best overall rider out there. But, I think Chase would be unstoppable if he was on an Austrian bike. Would love for him to get a deal to ride on GasGas with Barcia.

Wouldn't be saying sextons days or winnings are coming. The talking heads had him winning daytona last year, didn't happen this year either.

I'd say Cooper Webb is winning because it is when Eli Tomac isn't riding at his best.

The reason Webb is back is simple. Aldon Baker. Last season he stopped training with Aldon Baker and had a horrible season. This season back with Aldon. Back to winning.

Sexton is young, and has big balls lol But, those balls get in his way, and he gets too careless. I think he needs to calm down a little bit and concentrate on his riding, and ride smarter, not necessarily faster and so out-of control. Give him another year or two and he's gonna be a seasoned, smarter, rider.
