Since the 80's some things have seemingly stayed the same. Coors Lights remains a light beer staple and the legend of good guy, Daniel LaRusso, the original underdog Karate Kid, remain infamous world-wide. But times are changing, and if there is one thing we all love it's a good come back story. Enter, the return of Johnny Lawrence, Coors Banquet and the new hit series, Cobra Kai. Decades later, both Johnny and Daniel's story's have changed, and so too is the way the world is starting to view a once obscure release, only available in Golden, Colorado. As his drink of choice, Coors Banquet, now available in the cool 1930's stubby bottle, and Johnny's popularity are on the rise. Today, who would win now face to face? The Silver Bullet vs the Banquet go head to head and we'll tell you who wins. As for Johnny and Daniel... looks like there is more to come on how their story ends. Cheers!

Come on guys, we're the same age, y'all went to college 20 minutes from where I grew up, and no mention of Smokey and the Bandit? I'm a bit disappointed. 🤣 That's why I tried Banquet when I first ran across it, it's what the Snowman was carrying in the truck. And it is definitely better than the Light.

Look, can't knock your love of a great movie. A Pontiac Firebird, Burt Reynolds mustache, the Snowman and bootlegging Coors all makes for a great story. I guess I just feel like Johnny and Daniel would whip their a#$ if push came to shove 🤣🤣 And yeah, Banquet wins hands down over Light, but the real winner is the 36 Stubby bottle...pure Golden goodness! @@2TEN90 Andy, I love the Karate Kid and Cobra Kai, heck, in the 80's I got good doing the crane kick on a stump in the front yard. But.... you'd be Reynolds and Todd would be Reed. 🤣

Coors banquet is my go to, my grandma passed away earlier this year, one day i was watching cobra kai and seeing those stubby bottles made me feel like trying one out. I bought a 6 pack of stubbies and gave my grandma one, she said it looked just like the bottles did when she met my grandpa in the 50s and they used to drink them then. He passed away a little over a year before that. Its a good memory every time i crack one open and since then ive always chose banquet when its available.

I just recently drank Coors Banquet for the first time too. I bought a whole bunch of macro 24 oz cans just to revisit my younger drinking days to see if I still liked any of them. The best three macros for me were 3) Miller High Life 2) Hamms 1) Narragansett. I wasn’t a fan of the Banquet unfortunately... Cheers fellas!

I really love Coors banquet beer. It’s my favorite of all the domestic full flavored macro brews. That having been said Coors light is just too light for me, Not enough flavor.

Coors Banquet is my go to macro beer for years ....Brewed only in Golden Colorado ,,,,you also didn't mention the little sayings under the bottle cap ...check it out

I bought coors banquet today! And I’ll be honest I hated beer before, and still hate most… but I do like coors banquet. I mostly did spiked half and half’s, twisted teas, and the spiked redos, but I can vibe with the banquet

Haha.. agreed. If not for Cobra Kai, not sure I would have ever picked up a Banquet. That said, those 1936 Stubby Bottles are wicked cool so I guess it makes it worth a pick up...at least once :) Maybe I'll grab one more 6-pack when they release Season 4! Are you a Cobra Kai fan?
