That's the way no worries what time it is job got to be done I used to get all the late and night work when I drove coaches

Another excellent vlog, I'm like you, much prefer a later shift. Getting up at 0330 for a 0500 start not really my idea of fun, but have to take the rough with the smooth as work rotating shifts!

Hi Kev, Was wondering what the law was on having a untaxed and no MOT car on the back of the spec with hgv ? I always thought it would have to be on dollys on the spec so no wheel of the car is on the road would be handy to know the full rules cheers 👍🏻

No way would my boss have had me drive 3 hours empty to pick up a load when I was driving transporters - he even hated me running back empty . . . I always liked to get out as early as possible - I used to ask for long distance runs so I could be 200 miles from base at 08:00 if I could. I was once offered a job at Copart; wrote a letter of resignation to my current employers but bottled out before I handed it in after I looked around my DAF 95 tractor unit and remembered that I was told at the Copart interview that I'd be given the old DAF 65 rigid . . . ;-)
